    14 win countdown to promotion

We will probably get a couple of unexpected results from that lot (draw or loss) but equally I'm sure that we will get 2 or 3 wins from the remaining fixtures. Wrexham and Watford will possibly have nothing to play for by the time we meet them (and possibly even Hull)

    14 win countdown to promotion

I think people are looking at this the wrong way around. If we don't get to at least mid to high 80 points we are unlikely to go up automatically. That's the challenge. I know people are talking about high 70's could be enough this year but I don't agree with that. If we win another 14 like the...

The problem with this is, Bournemouth could have got promoted with 83 points but the other clubs below 2nd needed 89

It's optimistic but very possible as we have already proven

    25/26 January Transfer Window

I think Armstrong could turn out to be a similar signing to BTA if he were with us, not sure on the attitude bit though.

    14 win countdown to promotion

We obviously could win all our home games and at least half our away games, but looking at it as negatively as I possibly can, I'm expecting this as a minimum. Home: I think we should win against Swansea, Millwall, Oxford, Stoke, Preston, Derby, Wednesday, Portsmouth, Wrexham, and draw 2 of the...

    Timely reminder.

We conceded 24 goals in the 11 games from 1st Jan to 28th March, that's equivalent to 100 goals in a current season.

BTA interview a few days old.

He's missed four and a half games and is still second top scorer, only 1 goal behind Armstrong.

Protest about Russia invading Afganistan https://www.biography.com/political-figures/jimmy-carter-1980-olympics-moscow-boycott USA sprinters were in the high 9 seconds then I believe.

    Our fastest ever player....

Alan Green was pretty rapid, for those that can remember him.

BTA interview a few days old.

More likely to be Leicester on 17th, no need to risk him in the FA cup

    Haji- new agency

He is a very good player, but his stats this season don't really support that. Same with Haji which partly explains premier league interest.

    Our fastest ever player....

Williams' time was 11.45 in that Rumbelows sprint competition, for context Alan Wells won olympic gold in the 1980 games with a time of 10.24. (USA runners boycotted those games)

    Haji- new agency

Sergeant has scored less goals than Haji this season and is currently injured.

    Oliver Dovin

Some game time would make sense, especially if Rushworth is still a Brighton player at the end of this window, because if we haven't got an option to buy that probably means we won't get him, or at best it would mean we wouldn't be negotiating until the Summer. And anyway I doubt either keeper...

Match Thread Southampton - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 20th Dec

I would say 3 at the back is the best way to start, we can always change mid game as we did at Preston.

That's exactly what Vik did a few months before he left

    Oliver Dovin

There's no reason why he can't continue where he left off. If / when he is ready he will play in the cup, and may even get a few league appearances towards the end of the season if we are in a position to do that without too much risk.
