Can't imagine why they'd object to helping us out when our supporters say such nice things about them.

what's the reduced capacity at St Andrews, is there enough for all season ticket holders and the required away allocation?

Is that actually the rumour or has whoever that twitter account is seen talk of playing at St Andrews this week and come up with their own rumour.

If we're having to play the game somewhere else I hope Wasps are covering the costs and lost revenue. Hard enough to get people to the CBS for an early round cup game.

Same with the Trust who have had a bit of a nightmare this weekend claimed they never gave Wasps any support.

I have a feeling the CWG statement is being misinterpreted. It refers to de-rigging which would be taking down the signage, getting rid of all that stuff in the car park etc. Don't see any reason why after the last game has been played the pitch couldn't be worked on. I think what they are...

the thing I want to hear now, and hopefully Gilbert has either spoken to the club, Wasps or an expert about this, is how long the problem is going to take to resolve. the arguing over whose fault it is and compensation can wait.

Pretty much every concert falls into one of two categories, either venue hire or a bought show. For most venues they will prefer venue hire, it may not be a huge profit per event but its a guaranteed profit unless you do something very stupid and charge below your costs but obviously its a case...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Think there could be more to the issues at Wasps than suspected. Not paying back the bond is obviously a huge red flag but now we’re seeing essential pitch maintenance not being carried out and they aren’t signing players. Not to say they’re going bust tomorrow of course but potentially more...

Plague on all houses for me

Looking at the ground staffs twitter feeds they had 19 days between the last concert and the CWG and they describe the pitch as not exactly in great condition, "prepare the old, tired surface for multiple events". Clearly it needs to be relaid as was promised by Wasps have booked so many events...

From what Boddy is saying there was no option to not play at home for the first few weeks, EFL putting their foot down. To be fair they have given a lot of leeway given its a league requirement to have primacy.

Match Thread ⚽️ Carabao Cup: Coventry City vs Bristol City Match Thread - Wednesday 10th Aug

Can't see it being played at the CBS and not sure there will be agreement to re-arrange so a forfeit might be our only option. Unless the game is switched to Bristol but that seems short notice. Only other option would be playing BCD somewhere but not sure that would be agreed to by the powers...

Where has this come from, not seen it mentioned anywhere. Not sure Wasps would have pulled out of the CWG because we asked them to

See on one of the Wasps forums they're claimed Wasps didn't commit to doing anything to improve the pitch yet there's an article in the Telegraph from March this year with quotes from Vaughan

How will all this effect our season?

How it impacts the season depends on how long this is going to take to sort. At the moment its one game postponed which as annoying as it is isn't really the end of the world in terms of the season overall. The cup game I would imagine will either switch grounds or be forfeit, again annoying but...

Plague on all houses for me

Think the Commonwealth lease thing is a bit of a red herring. Their statement relates to derigging which is nothing to do with the pitch, its all the other crap, for example the stuff occupying the car park. Reads to me that all they've agreed to is suspending that process to allow matches to...

I don't really get why people think those at the top should be talking to each other on a virtually daily basis. Personally I'd take that as a sign something was wrong as things should pretty much run themselves. Same with the pitch, I'd find it a bit odd if someone from our side was chasing...
