There's not much of a dispute. You're the only one left who thinks he is poor.

    Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

Yes ours went on for many years but from when we went down to League 2 we improved each season until we reached the playoffs for the first time. And even then we came as close as you could ever get to getting to an FA cup final. With Sheffield Wednesday it has happened so quickly and so badly...

    Wembley again Ole Ole

You might remember I called us 2nd to 4th before the season started. For some unknown reason many put us mid table. What wasn't considered by many was the advantage of having most of our squad and the whole 1st team that have been together for at least a year (other than Grimes who just slotted...

    Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

Depends which way you look at it. Our problems were a fight over ownership of what is now our own ground. When Chansiri took over Sheffield Wednesday owned their own ground. They now don't own their own ground. Chansiri has separated the two. They are going downhill very fast and if it...

    Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

At least our players and staff got paid. There was always someone there even if they did feed us shite. It was a battle between SISU and our beloved council. With Chansiri nobody can contact him. He stopped paying the wages of players of no value but paid those of value so they couldn't leave...

    Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

I don't agree with pitch invasions during games. Afterwards no problem. Maybe even at HT. But we also have to consider the safety of our players and if we have hundreds or even thousands invading the pitch during our game we can't guarantee the safety of our players.

    Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

If there's an owner worse than SISU they have found him. My guess is he has secured loans on them so can't afford to sell for anywhere near their true value. Nobody at the club can contact him from thousands of miles away. He doesn't want the media coverage but it's a bit late for that.

    Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

I don't have a problem with them protesting but they don't have my backing because of what has happened in recent years. The one thing I am against is them invading the pitch and getting the game called off. Our supporters will have spent a fair bit of money with tickets and travel to go to...

Nothing to do? Do yourself a favour and at least watch the highlights. He was constantly so good that he should be on them somewhere. One of the reasons they were so shite going forwards was they just couldn't get past JDS. He did a couple of tackles that were so good that you would have been...

    Championship thread 25/26!

Other than the quick turnaround for the Sheffield Wednesday game there's nothing too difficult next month where we would expect to get a draw at best. Gives us a decent chance of pulling away from the pack before we come to the more difficult last 2 months of the year.

    NEXT 2 GAMES

I think we will struggle more against Sheffield Wednesday than Millwall. Sheffield Wednesday are away to Birmingham on Tuesday night so have plenty of recovery time before their home game against us. We have to go to London to play Millwall Wednesday night so the players won't get home until...

Match Thread Millwall FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 1st Oct

Of course we're a top 4 side. What we need to do is keep an average of 2 points a game. Win at home draw away. We won't stay undefeated for the whole season and we won't win every home game. I won't be too upset if we only get a point against Millwall but they're there for the taking. They...

December could be just as difficult. Ipswich A Preston A Bristol City H Southampton A Swansea H Ipswich H Ipswich should have got their act together by December and we have to play them twice. Maybe Will Still will be gone and they bring in someone with the experience needed. Have rarely...

    Man of the match

I give the award to Davies for the amazing way he had his side play against us. The only reason we won was they shouldn't have got the red card and half of our side should have been sent off for constantly kicking the ball away. Davies for England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🤡

Match Thread Coventry City - Birmingham City Match Thread - Saturday 27th Sep

It seemed at times that their plan was to put at least 2 players on each of ours that are dangerous going forward. The problem they had is most of our players are dangerous going forward so they were constantly pulled out of position. Maybe if they concentrated more on the ball we wouldn't...

Not much of a Hollywood signing that a Yank would like for their TV show. Will be interesting to see who they go for next and how many times they get turned down. Reality hasn't hit home yet.

I took a look at their forum before the game. A fair few were worried about our midfield and Sakamoto was named as a major problem. They were putting 2 or 3 players on him yet he still took the piss 😂 OK he isn't scoring goals like our other midfielders but he is being heavily marked which is...

The game yesterday wasn't a one off. They've scored 5 goals in 7 games with 3 of them coming after the 90th minute. They had been strong in defence, only letting in 5 goals in 6 games, but now that's 8 in 7 games and their best defender missing out on their next game. Add to this they have a...

I agree but a part of me also disagrees 😆 Goals are not a problem for us. BTA has stepped up a level under Lampard and his team. Maybe backup for Torp/Rudoni and the same on the wings. Top strikers cost a lot of money. But if we did bring another one in I could see us doing a Leeds from last...
