Basically this. It would have limited our liability on repairs/maintenance requirements given we have relatively modest usage. Also thinking SISU were planning to have taken over the stadium at this point, at which they could rescind the License and implement their own Lease terms.
It is mentioned in Gilbert’s tweet that the agreement CCFC has is a License, not a Lease. I believe we all understood it to be a Lease for which there are very specific rules of termination. A License can be terminated by the Licensor just because they fancy it.
Media reports this morning suggesting Saka back in whilst Henderson retains his place. Foden’s being dropped ain’t he.
Edit: now Talksport reporting Foden will start. That means Rashford missing out? Seems odd.
Needs the rest of the team set up to accommodate him. If he’s dropping deep and we have no one running into the space behind then he’s a bit of a waste of time. Part of the reason I think Grealish/Foden haven’t traditionally looked top class at international level. That said, Foden much better...
I’m with @Liquid Gold on this one, can’t quite believe he’d be in for the stadium if a deal isn’t already lined up for the club. Convinced it’s all in place.
Don’t rate it. Worth doing some research on affordable restaurants though, he twice I’ve been I’ve stumbled upon a couple of gems (names escape me). One in particular did a hanger steak, fries and Gorgonzola sauce for about €8.
