    Wright penalty decision

Didn't see it but their player pulled Wolfie's shorts down at a corner.

    For those that remember 1967

That song and the speech. Really was from a different era. Felt modern at the time. Jolly good show old chap.

Sunderland and Wolves. The only time I have been on the Highfield Rd pitch. My brother did play there.

    The bitterness...

I was there and we deserved to win. However, being 6-1 down from the first leg, courtesy of Glazier getting injured in the warm up, did mean Bayern were taking it easy. I feel more upset at the scouser hooligans losing our FA Cup winning team the chance to play in Europe. If anyone needs...

They do have a large catchment if you include Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and surrounding areas. However, lots of retirees who support other clubs. If you compare square acreage, I would imagine we would be much larger. They don't have much competition like we do.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

Definite happenings according to posters on here. What happened to the Championship winger we were signing? Manneh was almost a done deal. Since his league finished a while ago, if it is plain sailing, as claimed, he should be here shortly. Fingers crossed.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

When BTA was first injured, Lampard said he would be out at least six weeks. Six is the best case scenario. Reading between the lines, I get the feeling (without any information to confirm it), end of January. Lampard usually says when a player is back on the grass, and you spot them on the...

    Gus Hamer

I don't know why people keep banging on about Gus returning. We sold him with Vic to build a great team. We cannot afford to buy him back or pay his wages. Or O'Hare either. Both are on money that would break our wage structure. We may be top of the league and selling out the CBS, but the...

    The bitterness...

Think living for now is more important. OK, I get angry at supporters dissing us on social media now. Wrexham and Ipswich beating us when we had weakened teams crowing about how awesome they are. See incoming if we happened to lose at Birmingham. Why be upset with Brentford, Crystal Palace or...

Scores on the doors vs Swansea

When JDS plays, his use of the ball and retention of possession is exceptional. Bidwell is always going to fall short of those standards, and that is why JDS is an automatic first choice. Thought Bidders was fine today, even though I kept thinking JDS would have done better in the same...

1966/67 after 23 games promotion season

Went to most of the matches that season. Gave Carlisle away a miss. Jimmy Hill brainwashed us into thinking we were invincible, and we were for the last 25 games.

Nah, Lamps and the boys would have turned him into a world beater. Surprised how slight he is. As our feeder club, if he gets good we will take him later.

That really is their cup final. I remember them crowing when they beat us, when we never turned up due to the Man U semi the following week. Oh how they laughed, then got relegated. Shame.

Coventry City - The CBS Story: In our Coventry Homes (BBC CWR)

Think anyone who understands the impact of football, particularly having in a Premier League club in our city, makes the actions of Coventry Council over the years really reprehensible. Even taking into account SISU's stances, the Wasps debacle should not be forgotten. This from people who...

Match Thread Coventry City - Ipswich Town Match Thread - Monday 29th Dec

Lamps uses round pegs in round holes, which is one of the reasons he has been successful. Playing KKH on the left is a risk, as he has rarely played there. Two full games in three days may be a step too far for Bidders. Depends on flu casualties. Philogene and Clarke play predominantly left...
