    Hughes returns.

Wingy, I wouldn't take much notice of the red rag. What it means is he is fit and available for selection, nothing more than that. KC never names his teams till 2pm.

Coventry vs Notts County Match Thread

Leacock has been immense since he joined us. I'm imagining you saw him play for Derby when he had a lot of problems with the manager. If he's out, along with Bish and Judge it could be a struggle for us, especially as our rb is out too. If Tom Williams (who sadly is now fit again) plays, you...

    Hughes returns.

In fairness MMM I never said anything about how you Cov fans should act. My comment was based on how I think HUGHES should act if he does travel. Obviously I don't know at this moment if he will or not.

CET: Forest welcome offers for McG and players back from injury

Come on Astute. If you really are, as your name suggests, I'm pretty sure you know what I'm getting at, whether you meant it that way or not and I am prepared to accept that you didn't. Imagine if you read that exact post about Coventry on another clubs messageboard. Whatever the actual Facts...

CET: Forest welcome offers for McG and players back from injury

It might be his choice who he joins, unless someone pays a fee and Florist won't let him go for less. It also might have something to do with it if one club offers him a better contract...in fact it will probably have the most to do with it as it always comes down to money in the end. I'm not...

    Hughes returns.

Yeah, think that was about the amount of pre sold tickets for Shef U away. Youre right, lots will pay on the day I would have thought.

CET: Forest welcome offers for McG and players back from injury

Couldn't that depend a bit on league positions come Jan? Plus he wouldn't have an hours journey to training. I suppose ultimately it will come down to the contract he's offered, but I hope you aren't ridiculing us for being a smaller club than you are. We seem to be competing pretty well so far.

    Hughes returns.

Between 1 and 1.5k I imagine. Think we took nearly 1.3k to Sheff Utd. Be disappointed if it's below a thousand.

    Hughes returns.

Think the Wolves thing comes from him being a WBA fan and player tho doesn't it? He will wind the crowd up and play with a big grin on his face and even celebrate in front of away fans if he scores when they give him the most stick. He says he sees it as no more than a bit of banter and taking...

    Hughes returns.

I think the most likely scenario is he'll be on the bench and will come on for the last 20/30 mins if we're chasing a goal.

    Hughes returns.

I realise it's a contentious issue for Coventry with Hughes, with the man who died being a cov fan, but I would sincerely hope that he would keep his head down if he features against you. I'd be very disappointed if he tried to wind the crowd up etc as it's a bit different playing you, to...

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

The times that Ince has done well, he's had Mathias as his assistant until they had a fallout. Without him, his record is less successful. This 9 game defeats under Ince is, in fairness a bit of a red herring though. We did go on a record 9 games defeat but they weren't all under Ince...the...

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

Fair enough LJC. Maybe they are. I did say 'perhaps' when I answered your earlier post. We had developed a bit of a bad reputation on away trips though. But I didn't come on here to talk about MA. I came to give you my own opinion on Ince and I tried to be fair to him by pointing out the 9...

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

I won't go into them because it's still hearsay and I don't think it's necessary... it's not MA you are thinking of employing. I do believe though, that the last thing our chairman wanted was to sack another manager. We were top half of the table at the time, so something had gone off for this...

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

We did, and most of our fans weren't happy, but since the sacking, some non footballing reasons have come to light that perhaps gave our chairman no choice.

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

Lordsummer, I think that's very true. Some managers just seem to gel with a club and do well there. Our current manager KC wasn't a popular appointment by any means, and had bad spells at 3 clubs before going on to work as Warnocks assistant. He obviously learned a lot there though and has...

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

Hi, Notts fan here. I'd love to tell you that Ince was just a bad fit for our club, but even if you ignore the defeats at the end of his reign it's not the whole picture. Our entire squad appeared fragmented and there was much talk of dressing room unrest. As an example, he used to call...
