    Milan van Ewijk Appreciation Thread

For arguments sake Friday we play something like Wilson MVE Thomas Kitching Bidwell Eccles Lati Sakamoto Ohare Wright Simms then using players who didn’t start Monday Collins ? ? Binks Dasilva ? Kelly Taveres Palmer ? Godden I can’t see Robins throwing in 4 debutants in there...

    Milan van Ewijk Appreciation Thread

Hardly comparable simms has played about 3 full seasons of professional men’s football, playing and scoring in the premier league and Thomas isn’t far behind. Lusala has played 0. I’m not even saying don’t play a couple of the kids but we don’t have the squad depth to put out 2 completely...

We’ve got 15 fit senior outfield players. Thats including Kelly who hasn’t played for months and Tavares who’s started 1 league game for us. Unless you’re suggesting we hand out about 5 debuts then some players are going to have to play against PNE and Maidstone

A couple of the lads are going to have to unfortunately, especially if Torp is out. Yes it’s a favourable tie and I’d expect some rotation but we can’t just throw kids in and blow a chance to get to a FA cup quarter final.

6 days rest now, everyone should be raring to go for this one (assuming Torp is fit). Be interesting to see what team he goes with here, can you change the back 5 after keeping our first clean sheet in 12?

Thomas 8 the rest 6/7. Done well to get 7 points this week without playing very well.

    Clean sheets

Last one was Boxing Day against Wednesday, 12 games ago. Going to have to sort the defence out if we’re going to have any chance of promotion.

    Plymouth Ratings

Yeah fair enough kind of lost track what scores I was giving and focusing more on the summary. Torp got caught in possession a couple of times and looked tired towards the end but the assist for Simms and a couple of other passes (one to godden which he put straight at the keeper) were top draw.

    Plymouth Ratings

Collins 8- some great long balls to Dasilva and some good stops MVE 6- missed Sakamoto going forward and out of position a few times Thomas 5- Few sloppy passes and didn’t have to dive in for the first goal Kitching 6.5- was ok Bidwell 6.5- done well for the Godden chance, solid enough Torp...
