I think Shipley looks a lot more assured in the CM pair than Bayliss did, id go as far to say I've never seen him play a bad game there in his natural position. Bayliss has to be further up the pitch for me.

‘Acommodated’ is the key word, Bayliss isn’t a natural CM like say Kelly, Shipley or Doyle. Not good enough defensively or off the ball! Although they’re different players, why would they not be compared when arguably their best position is the same! I don’t see how they are so different...
