Be very happy with that. MVE is the only player we don’t have decent cover for. He also looked much more comfortable at wing back than MVE if we ever wanted to use a back 5 again.

Think the team picks itself except Allen v Torp and Haji v EMC.

Still think he’ll go, he didn’t want to stay in the championship with us a year ago and his stock has risen significantly since then.

Palmer is a cop out answer, if we had to raise serious money and someone had to go it’s Sheaf. I’d rather go with what we have than let anyone go though fwiw

Tyreece Campbell has gone to Sheff Utd. Their transfer window has been very boring and unimaginative. Out of contract championship players and prem loans, can’t see it working for them long term.

The more fancied we are the more I think we’re not quite auto contenders yet, still not fully convinced by the defence and the goalkeeper is untried.

Hopefully be back just after the transfer window closes then. We’re in a good position where 1 injury doesn’t completely derail us. Other than Milan we are well stocked in every position incase of injury.
