I work with a few of them who have been to a couple of games this season (usually when we’re in good form).
Think a few ‘Cov are my second team’ fans will have taken advantage of the cheap tickets in the cup.
Don’t really know how to rate that given the obvious gulf in glass and the low intensity we played at. Happy for Simms, he’s a much better striker when the ball is played in front of him than when he’s asked to play with his back to goal.
Playing at about 25% capacity here and it’s still so comfortable. Some real sloppiness ok the ball at times but doesn’t matter too much when they aren’t going to punish us for it. Hoping we get 6 or 7, especially given how crazy of a high line they’re playing.
His best (or second best, I missed Oxford) game he’s had for us was in the cup replay. He’s just not very good when he has to play against actual decent opposition.
I don’t understand where this idea that Collins isn’t any good has come from. Been decent for us this season. Robins dropping him for Wilson out of the blue is one of the most baffling decisions he’s made in his time here and it cost us big time last night.
You know it’s a bad performance when even Andy Turner doesn’t rate anyone higher than a 5.5. The 3.5 for Dasilva might be his lowest score ever. Usually you can bang in a hatrick of own goals and get sent off and you’ll still get at least a 6 from ol’ AT.
I’m not seeing it at the moment. Takes far too many touches when he’s got the ball at his feet and I don’t think his short passing is particularly great overall. Has good moments of link up play with O’Hare and Sakamoto but then there are too many times where he tries to play a quick first time...
