Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Sure everyone who is owed money will completely agree Wasps move was 'the right thing to do'.

Time to put pressure on SISU?

Realistically there's nothing we can do. Protests in the ground just sour the atmosphere, cause division among fans and are ignored by the owners who don't even see them. Trips to empty London offices do nothing. NOPM or some type of boycott will only result in the money made available to Robins...

Always amazes me how these people completely fuck up and just walk into another executive level role

What a surprise that when there's finally a tiny bit of hope for things getting better it's all going to shit again. You know things are bad when people are saying the good option is Mike Ashley taking over the club.

If its anything like print media it's football that gives them the highest audience so that will be the last thing to get cut.

Think about the cost then have a look at how many such events take place at the Millennium Stadium. How many acts are booked to play multiple nights in Birmingham? Not many and would they prefer one night in Coventry instead of two nights in Birmingham? At least twice building a stadium at the...

They are currently spending in the region of £50m to expand Resorts World Arena to make in the biggest indoor arena in the UK. The problem with the 'put a roof on it and have events' is that there's not that many events that require an indoor arena with a capacity of 40K.

I don't see any reason they'd kick us out. The NEC being terrible seems to be based on scenarios people have invented in their heads. There's no guarantee that if SISU got the stadium they wouldn't keep hold of it and charge us £1m a year in rent. There's also no reason to believe that the NEC...

What exactly do you think the NEC would do that would be a disaster?

Why was everyone saying liquidation was going to happen to get rid of the debt? If you can just fuck the bondholders off along with the rest of the debt in a pre-pack admin what would be the benefit of liquidation? The bondholders are getting royally screwed aren't they? Think a good chunk of...

with the amount of debt that's being talked about you're only going to be talking a few pence in the pound unless someone has money to burn. Does it need the bondholders to accept any offer or are they just stuffed. Seems a bit odd to pay millions today when you could wait a few days and not...

Why would the NEC, who have all their venues named after sponsors, not want a sponsor for the CBS? What colour do you think they are going to change the seats to?

We've had days of people saying nobody would bid before liquidation as they'd have to sort out the debt and bondholders but now we're talking about multiple bids. So why are people bidding before it's all gone tits up and there's not a huge debt that needs dealing with?

The hall at the CBS can hold 7,000 max for gigs, Utilita Arena is 15,800, Resorts World Arena is being increased to 21,600 and the stadium is 40,000. For me that all fits together pretty well and means the NEC Group can offer promoters pretty much any size show they want, anything below that...

You'd think any bidder for the football club would want a professional in to run the exhibition side of it. Linking up with the NEC would make sense. Would you'd assume also be of interest to them as they get to run the part they want without having to pay for the stadium as well.

There is, or at least was, meeting notes on the council website that say safeguards need to be put in place to ensure that if CCFC / SISU ever get ownership of the stadium it can't be used as security on any finance.

How have they ended up owing loads to Delaware / Compass? Don't they run things themselves? I would have thought they'd take all the money and then pay ACL any share owned. From all the press releases about record breaking deals it was made to sound like Delaware / Compass were paying ACL...
