Eccles was a bit part player at most under Frank, he’s not going to replace Grimes and he’s not very well suited to the attacking 8 position Torp and Rudoni play. BTA is ok but im not massively enamoured with our striker options, it could do with a refresh. I’m sure Frank has targets he wants...

True, either way I think he’ll be a success. In the games against city and arsenal in the champions league he caused a world of problems.

I don’t think he’s a perfect fit at Arsenal. Was at his best when he could pick up the ball on the half way line and isolate defenders, he wont get that at Arsenal. That being said I think he’s a good enough player to be a success there.

I can’t picture it being a busy summer. In terms of numbers we are well stocked in every position. Might be a case of having to move people on before we bring anyone in.
