Rudoni's interview says that talks happened straight after the close if the season. If rumours are true that there was an improved offer on the table recently for COH, it seems somebody thought there was room for both.

My reply was more pointed at the reply to Forests post that pointed at Olypiacos possibly paying a bigger loan fee than the transfer fee so Forest actually make a profit on buying him - thus coming out better on the ffp side.
