Do you want to discuss boring politics?

the biggest surprise to me is gen x being more right wing than boomers were at this point

Not sure there would be a complaints procedure as such but it would all be down to the SAG so the club would get their chase to have a say at that. Although my experience of event licensing is that councils are very much you do what we say or you don’t get a license

I don't think we have a lot of choice in that. I doubt that the club are voluntarily paying out for a larger police presence than they have to. Some of the things that are done like that stupid fence defy all logic but what can we do We have very little push back on this because people...

    Singers corner

Imagine if Boddy rocked up to a meeting with the safety group and took some of the suggestions on here. Storm in, tell them to fuck off and that we are going to have designated blocks for people who wanted to take class As at games :ROFLMAO:

    Fun in the Premier League?

potentially is the word there. there's also potential for an owner to find a way to divert the money into their own bank account

think some people are in for a big shock if and when we get new owners. can't see any new owner coming in and looking at the business and thinking having ever aspect of the club by the cheapest in the division is a great strategy

Would be nice but that's not really how the world works is it. Friend of mine was taking her daughter to see Paw Patrol and was amazed to find you can buy VIP tickets, which is essential just a photo with someone in a costume for over double the price of regular tickets. It's the norm these days...

    Happy new year

If you need an excuse when I had plantar fasciitis the doctors advice was to spend a decent amount of money on trainers instead of wearing shoes His theory was there is far more technology and research that goes into the support and fit of trainers than any shoes you can buy

    Fun in the Premier League?

This highlights the issue, an expectation that we charge less than other clubs. A game against Villa for example would be a premium fixture Only checked a couple of clubs as for a lot you seem to have to sign up to get access to ticket info but Villa charge up to £59 for their top category...

    Fun in the Premier League?

Is this a genuine stat? Seems to be empty seats at a lot of televised games. Guess it could be season ticket holders not showing up but if demand was so great you'd think they'd have a queue of people wanting to use their ST if they couldn't attend a game Realistically we'd be lucky to make it...

Are there actually any laws against MLM. Not sure if they're just more visible in the social media age but they seem to be rife

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

The official explanation appears to be that we, and other countries, are monitoring and sharing data regarding potential new variants of concern but Chinese data isn't to be trusted. It's true that new variants could be milder, it's also true there could be new variants that evade vaccines and /...

I'd never really heard of him until all this kicked off, wish it had stayed that way. A look at his wiki entry is not good reading, maybe you can tell us what is wrong on there From what I can make out he had a pretty uneventful kickboxing career, fighting in places like Liquid & Envy nightclub...

I guess they're working on the basis that its the club not the owner who the regulations apply to and there's obviously an exemption in place (assuming I'm right about the regulations, not 100% on that but sure I remember something from when we were on our tour of other grounds) which would also...

Haven't got time to look it up at the moment but pretty sure there's a regulation that requires a minimum of a 10 year lease in place. Of course the downside of that means Frasers have the club over a barrel when it's time to negotiate, if they say they want £5m a year or some other ridiculous...

There's not a lot the club can really do about this I guess, limitation of the stadium, but it always annoys me when I look at the corporate offers that you only get parking if you book 4 places

Is there any actual evidence to suggest that kids who don't get to be a mascot stop supporting the club? I was never a mascot, never considered it an issue, sure there's plenty of others on here who weren't either. The JSB organisers do a great job with limited resources, if we're sponsoring or...

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Cardiff City Match Thread - Thursday 29th Dec

Hard to disagree, fear the squad is just too small to sustain a serious promotion push and knowing our luck the takeover, if it is genuine, will be completed on the day the window closes Think there's probably too much work that needs to be done in the January window. To find the number and...
