    do you think

Hussey is Ok. He is young and still learning. Young Christie looks a lot more solid and he rarely started at Full back in his early career. The problem at left back is we have no cover for that position. At least Keogh can play right back if pushed. (But you see I don't rate him very...

Hypothetically, could the council/Alan Higgs step in?

More likely that Alan Higgs steps in to support the Club if they go into Administration or to prevent Administration when SISU finally decide they have had enough and arn't going to get any money back. Would only be temporary though unless the Trust has much more money then I think it does!

Football League show - Goals on Sunday

To be fair they did say Peterborough rode their luck both is the first half and after the goal. As for P'boro deserving the win I missed that bit but rarely listen Rossenio anyway - a failed low league manager and average player. At least Claridge has played at many of the clubs featured in the...

    Daily Mail Article on CCFC

But look at Luton and Plymouth. More failures than successess once the rot sets in!

We want SISU out? i do now

I am not in favour of SISU but until someone shows me a credible alternative they are paying the bills nad stoping us from going into administration or worse. It is extremely nieve to expect them to walk away completely out of pocket as they are an investment company (the clue is the name). This...

    Deegan?

Simply not good enough no positional sense and agaisnt Southampton he was truely awful rather than just the usual awful. I bet you all want McPake back as well!!! PUSB

    One up front on Saturday

if Clingan and McDonald are out then Gardner will play the holding midfield role with Bigi and Thomas also playing deep. Tip of diamond should be Baker with Platt and Juke up front. The other option is to play McSheferry as a striker and use Platt as an impact sub. Whatever way you look at it...

Who has the longest streak of appearances?

Westwood had along run after he signed over a whole season I think before he missed a game?

    Carry on coventry

"Popped into a Paddy Power today and asked what the odds were on our ex chairman who was on the bench on saturday actaully managing the team before the season is out, and they would give me 10/1" I would have thought the odds were shorter than that!

Dream team we had in the last decade in the Championship...if they played together...

I think I would include Roland Neilson in there somewhere as well and Westwood not the best GK we have seen. Rate Kaspar Schmichael much higher!

Who were the last great pair of wingers you've saw at the city?

Don't thik Hunt was a better crosser of a ball than Hutchinson? Best pair Bennet and Pickering. Had gppd wongers on wing as mentioned but rarely a pair

    Clingan Out for Christmas games.

Don't forget King - not missing him either, or Turner!
  13. Stevec189

Why oh why did we get rid of Turner?

Simples - biggest wage of the defenders we have and the one with the biggest value since he had a 3 year contract and was by far the best and most skilful of our defenders. Certainly lies better than the crock that is McPake!

    Midlands Today Tonight

I hear he gets better expenses as head of football operations than he did as Chairman!

What was you're worst ever awayday?

Sutton United, Northampton Town, Chelsea (L6-2) - all during the 80's. Could also add in Reading in some gormless cup where we lost in the Semi's!
  16. Stevec189

    He must go now...

Because in his opinion he was the best player in that positon having tried others in training. Who else would you have played in that role? Even without a diamond you need a holding midfield player and we don't have any of sufficient quality - even when Clingan is fit! However Sheffers is not...
  17. Stevec189

    Gardner

Listening to AT on CWR I think he did consider it but came to the conclusion that Bigi and Conor are not good enough to play that role. However I think Sheffers will be dropped next game and we will have a midfield consisting of 2 18 YO a 21 YO and Baker. Not convienced that is good enough!

Are SISU/Board preparing us for Division 1?

Are there not rules in League 1 about the amount you can spend of turnover in wages? If we assume the playing squad costs remain the same (maybe the people will change) will we be deemed fit enough financially for League 1?
