Didn’t the club say that they weren’t going to be appointing an assistant manager when Delaney and Dempster were promoted or have I imagined that?

They did advertise for the assistant mangers job before announcing about a week later that they were going to go with the current set up instead. Hard to know if that was a genuine advertisement or not tbf.

Glad they’ve realised the mistake in the new coaching set up nice and early and made a move to rectify it.

The prevailing view on Sheaf his first season was definitely negative. Read the replies and quote tweets on his announcement tweet. Plus plenty of tweets like this that summer/end of the 20/21 season.

Genuinely think we’ve played 2, maybe 3 teams who will end up finishing in the top 10 - Leeds, Norwich and Watford.

A point at home against a Sheffield Wednesday side who’d picked up 1 point in their previous 4 away games and barely scored a goal would have also been a bad result. They are not a good side, despite us somehow making them look like one.

We’d do well to get that much for some of those.
