We’ve been doing that for years??

Yeah there was one from MVE in the first half where his man got in behind and he just pointed

    Atmosphere

League position also to blame for this a little. The games all feel a little bit dead rubbery and it’s hard to get too excited as there’s no real jeopardy. If / when we get close to the playoffs again it will all come back.

I thought this about the system yesterday… on the bench we had 3 right wingers (tats, Raphael & Tavares) and we don’t play a right wing.

    Bristol city player ratings

Brilliant this 😂 a few weeks ago people were saying “Robins had to go because he’s wasted good money on players like Dovin and Kitching”. And for what it’s worth…. Dovin started 11/14 under Robins. It was clear he was his preferred choice.

I imagine he’d be the best player at the club for Rondo type drills. For all the talk of him getting dominated in the air, I can only think of a handful of times it’s actually led to anything in a season and half. It’s very different to a centre half getting beaten in the air which results in a...

    Referee

Yeah completely agree. Surprised McNally didn’t get booked but I’d rather a ref be lenient than strict. Refreshing when a player falls over and the ref doesn’t buy it.

    FA Cup 4th Round

It does seem a bit redundant now that you can watch any game all the way down to league 2 on your tv or even phone for free. At this point it is in the clubs interest to get some money for it. I understand the sentiment that you want people in the ground but everyone has had a choice of...

£10k fine from Sheff U game

Yeah I imagine he’s one of those characters where you love him when he’s yours and ruffles you up when he’s not. I don’t think there was a cat in hells chance of him joining us though (if you’re on about last year)

£10k fine from Sheff U game

Oh I thought you meant the bbc report lol. Well yeah obviously if you compare him to sexual abusers then obviously that’s another level. I meant more from a football / the way he is in interviews etc. It was just a throwaway comment mate, I hadn’t actually made a list.

£10k fine from Sheff U game

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c62732zelj2o Sheffields 6th offence in 5 years 😱 they really are a horrible club. I think Chris Wilder is my most disliked person in the sport.

    FA Cup 4th Round

Shit team at home. The cup is all we have this season now really.

    Our progress

We had a comparable points tally from Robins’ last 8 games and that’s without the “gimme’s” Lampard has had against bottom of the league Plymouth and second bottom (10 men) Cardiff. We need to give Lampard time but to suggest he has improved us at this stage is looking for things that aren’t there.

    Omari Kellyman

Yeah fair, I hear you. As long as it doesn’t take away a loan / budget from next season by using one this season when it’s pretty much done. I don’t think I’d comprehended that we were only 10 points off play offs but tbh the way we’re playing, it’s kind of irrelevant anyway.

Is there any point in getting a loan now at this point in the season given where we are? I can’t remember how much you get per finishing place but not sure there is enough difference between finishing say 18th or 12th to make it worth the gamble of paying for a loan.

    Match Thread Home game atmosphere

I think we just hit a really unusual sweetspot a few years ago. We had a combination of 3 things that all created the atmosphere… Success x being back in the championship for the first time in ages x being back at the CBS / back in stadiums generally after covid. It was all new again and...
