    Tom Fisher Q & A email

Arbitration would take away any control either part feel they have and therefor I guess none of them are prepared to walk that road freely. But maybe the fans can put some pressure on them? Why not? Swansea is the example of what fans can achieve. Even Robbie Savage was praising the Swans...

    Tom Fisher Q & A email

Ha ha so some spurious attempt to suggest I am a sisu employee. When I first joined this forum I had 2 main issues - thorn and the ridiculous arrangement we have in leasing the ground. Extortionate rent and no revenue is absurd and prohibitive. I met Paul Fletcher a couple of times and...

    Tom Fisher Q & A email

This club has been denied rightful income [emphasis added] from the council so my analogy is correct especially as ACL is now a council run quango. Really interesting use of words ie 'rightful income'. In the oft quoted Times article about sisu, there is a reference to JS believing her...

Swans Trust - supporters can make things happen!

With all the interest in Swansea in the build up to this weekend, this is doing the rounds on twitter http://tinyurl.com/a534c3m

SCG Teleconference with Tim Fisher tonight

KingH - I forgot to say when posting yesterday would it be possible, given various posts on this, just to ask TF to clarify?

Tim Fisher speaks about 'new stadium'

Yesterday, KingHarvest posted on here a report of what Tim Fisher told the Supporters Consultative Group on Tuesday. KingH wrote: "Moving onto the rumours of a new stadium, this is only 1 option of many that been initially explored - However, and TF was quite clear on this, the club do not...

SCG Teleconference with Tim Fisher tonight

There were fewer than 20 paid up members but it's now up to 800 and new people keep on joining so that figure keeps increasing

SCG Teleconference with Tim Fisher tonight

And I'm very happy to answer about the Trust. Sky Blue Trust was relaunched last summer. Membership is open to all, costs £1 (free for under 16s). It's a democratic body with a specific legal standing. The Board members were elected at a meeting last July and their names are on the Trust website...

SCG Teleconference with Tim Fisher tonight

Summary of key points in this thread Some very useful posts in this thread - for anyone who doesn't want to read the whole thing/repeat it all again tomorrow the key points seem to be: “the rent…was agreed at the well-publicised £400k” (KingHarvest) “the 400k includes match day costs - they...

SCG Teleconference with Tim Fisher tonight

Kingharvest - thanks for the post and publicising the info from the SCG. Until fairly recently I didn't know the SCG existed and i suspect most fans have never heard of it. Do you have a website? Is there a list of people who attend? Jan doesn't hide his identity so could others on the SCG also...

    finances

If you try and see things from sisu's perspective, what do we know? Why they got involved in the first place is a mystery but perhaps is explained best by thinking it was pre recession and the economy was awash with money and profits so the whole context was completely different to today - and...

Good stuff OSB. These are the sort of things we need to be talking about not PR nonesense like the stade de warwickshire which is worse than a red herring - a dead herring maybe?

    well said Tim Fisher

The critical thing with mediation is that it only works if all parties are willing to be open, work together and are willing to compromise. Events of the last week seem to suggest the opposite of these requirements. If these requirements aren't met then mediation is just a delaying tactic and...

Neil Moxey on CWR this morning

It's too late for my brain to be working properly, and yet another trip up the m6 tomorrow, so I'll leave the Sally ann jokes for others

Neil Moxey on CWR this morning

Maybe it's an age thing but I've never understood the anonymity on forums. If you've got something to say why hide who your are? Grendel, you [ie Ashdown] or anyone else on here could be my next door neighbour, someone I work with, a wind up merchant, a bored kid or someone with inside knowledge...

Nice one. Interesting about football league and FA taking an interest. What/who would trigger their involvement?

Breaking news: ACL call in debt and have access to CCFC

You may well be right but part of the current strategy is to break even within 2 years hence all the cost cutting. If break even point is reached, rather than walk away they could just sit tight, adjust the budget if we get promoted/relegated and just wait till someone does make them an offer...

Breaking news: ACL call in debt and have access to CCFC

Can't see them just walking away cos they then lose best part of £50m. It's a heck of a lot of money to kiss goodbye to

Breaking news: ACL call in debt and have access to CCFC

Acl-sisu are doing my head in. I've listened to the stuff on CWR this morning - do any of them give a ff for supporters? Whenever fans are mentioned we get warm words, but words are cheap and actions speak a lot louder.

    New £30m stadium in pipeline

Doesn't this get to the key point i.e. the council taking over the acl mortgage from Yorkshire bank prevented sisu getting even part ownership of the ricoh, leaving ccfc solely dependent on football related income. Sisu can continue not paying rent till ACL decide to go for a winding up order...
