Positive News for the Academy - Wasps pull out of Higgs

Sponsoring the shirts must provide a bit of income? Or does he literally just buy the shirts...

Positive News for the Academy - Wasps pull out of Higgs

I meant AH/CSF and City and in relation to Leamington Petes rumour... Too many beers after trying to go for a run this evening.

Positive News for the Academy - Wasps pull out of Higgs

If there is looking like there will be a tighter partnership between AH and CSF it just goes to show what can be done once egos are moved aside and people are honest with there intentions in negotiation.

Positive News for the Academy - Wasps pull out of Higgs

If CSF have got a bit more certainty over City's residency at AH perhaps Wasps have been told they need to offer us more, thus increasing the costs for whatever they want (or accepting a fairer share of facilities) and expediting the need to start whilst they still haven't raised funds. Clearly...

Positive News for the Academy - Wasps pull out of Higgs

Likewise Duffer, my guess is that Wasps may be just about coping on a day to day basis, however there is absolutely no room in the finances for further investment. I guess either ACL took a lot more investment to get on track or they banked on additional outside funds to pay for some of this...

Positive News for the Academy - Wasps pull out of Higgs

Should there be any concern that wasps are going to try and build up a scenario where they demonstrate that SISUs ongoing court action has been detrimental to their business and counter sue? I'm not even sure that is possible, I just remember at the last appeal/hearing there were complaints...

    Lincoln

I'm gutted that I can't get to this game as I lived in Lincoln for 20 years and the misses and her family are all from there. We are however expecting and even I don't think it would be wise to go that weekend! Fellow sky blues should have a good time though, uphill there are quite a few pubs...

Apparently it was a cup game today... Meh. Cov might only be one league below them next year!

    Coventry RFC Thread 18/19

We were talking about that earlier, there is a strong likelihood that we will have Worcester in the same division, who seem to be having there own finance/owner issues. I do have to keep telling myself it is too early to start getting that far ahead of myself though!

    32000 crowd

Didn't realise the pests were playing today, I didn't think there was any Premiership Rugby this weekend. I even took a cockney Wasp to the Butts this afternoon.

    Coventry RFC Thread 18/19

Caldy certainly had a decent go, Cov didn't look quite as fluid at times. Although I think we've been spoilt a bit this season. Took a couple of Leicester and a Wasps fan (old Uni mates) along today as there was no Aviva Premiership... (it was difficult to find suitable disguises). They were...

OSB and CD have wrapped that up pretty well. Ranson's entire plan on a footballing and club management level was unrealistic and it appears that he may have been fairly economical with the truth in the early years re ROI potential. In terms of the JR, does that mean SISU have seven days to...

Wasnt there significant financial fallout because of the ITV sport collapse? Or did clubs just make a lot of it?

All matchday tickets on sale from Monday!

The 12 match package looks good to me. I can't make mid week games so a season ticket is always too much. I also go and watch CRFC pretty often so don't want to be tied one way or another.

    Court Match Thread

The main argument seems to just be an extension on JR1 in terms of the council giving Wasps state aid, just from a slightly different angle. Unfortunately it seems SISU want to continue probing for holes in the sale process in order to get a return. However, as Astute has said CCC got a...

    Court Match Thread

He might concentrate on using his links with CCFC to get exclusives with players and Mark Robins and talk about the footballing side of things (which I hope will be more positive next year). Hopefully now this episode is over we can forget our differing opinions and get behind Cov, I'm trying...

He has got bags of potential, but not proven as yet. I hope he stays so that he can improve under Robins and show what quality he really has.
