That’s exactly what I thought. He didn’t do anything wrong other than the ‘miss’. Did a nice flick for Bassette, held it up and passed off nicely, won a clever freekick, tracked back well etc. I’ve criticised him before but not today! I’m sure he’ll be pleased to hear.

Agreed. Having someone in the middle that can run and beat players would make a big difference in these sort of games.

I don’t remember them having any big chances - they had a shot straight at Dovin and I’m not sure created anything at all in the 2nd half. I remember Rudoni hitting the post and the bar. There were also a couple of times when better balls from Eccles would have had us in. It’s frustrating but...

Watched Blackkklansman for the 2nd or 3rd time with the folks, who hadn’t seen it. It’s brilliant and I think it’s definitely worth another viewing as things change in America.
