In an ideal world I’d have Jarne Steuckers or Nanasi doing it, but yes if the only two options are stick with Palmer or spend £2-3m on Rudoni I’d pick Palmer.

Sorry for wanting our main attacking midfielder to be someone who can create for Ellis Simms and Haji Wright rather than a run around a lot merchant 🤷

Palmer played the equivalent of 14 less 90-minute games than Rudoni and created 6 more chances. Van Ewijk created more last season than Rudoni.

Rudoni is a creative wasteland of a midfielder. Haji Wright created as many chances as he did this season. And he missed more big chances than any midfielder in the league last season.

His entire shtick is saying “5pm announcement” and being wrong 9 out of 10 times
