If Mowbray didn't think he could be successful on the budget given to him he wouldn't sign, he said as much the other day. Our budget was good enough to have a play off push last season, our problem was it was grossly mismanaged by Pressley and Waggot.
Probably if you have sold every single seat as claimed and 99.9% of them turn up, football sell outs can never completely sell out because of the need for segregation between sets of fans.
No it would probably get a small mention on here when it happened and that is it, I'd imagine Birmingham and Aston Villa fans however would be extremely upset about it though and I'm sure it would have also been debated to death by their fans as we have.
I'm not so sure, how much would the naming rights and advertising around the stadium be worth with a premier league side playing there? Would outstrip anything they have now you would expect.
Only because people realise it takes two sides to negotiate a contract/deal, Northampton happened because ACL/CCC and SISU/CCFC couldn't or didn't want to agree a deal. Apportioning some of the blame to one of the major players in failed negotiations whether rightly or wrongly is understandable...
I'm guessing you don't go to Wasps matches so it doesn't really apply to you.
What about the 32k who will be at the Leicester match though? Are they giving the thumbs up for franchise sports in the UK?
Least our fans still have our dignity right unlike those Milwall mob, If by dignity we mean bending over and letting SISU walk all over us and now history is repeating itself as the same people allow a London rugby team to do the same.
Its the classic dilemma with gambling, if you can afford to lose it then thats fine. If you can't afford to lose it, then that is when it becomes reckless.
The less significant side, based on what, your opinion? You're at it again, you can't help yourself but defend him.
I admit I didn't draw attention to skybluemong as I have a pro CCFC agenda, whats your excuse?
The pair of them have been going at it for about 10 months now, quite funny actually reading it.
Yes they both look like imbeciles, still find it interesting how you immediately jumped to his defence though.
