Some teams have slow starts some have slow finishes, as a rule you end up where you deserve to be from the season as a whole. Trying to pin point where something went wrong is kind of futile as there are so many variables.

kane foden and walker are world class. As is Bellingham. Rice and Saka not far off. All of those would walk into nearly all international or club teams

we are actually struggling for CBS at international level now. We always had one player who was a guaranteed starter. Campbell, Terry, Ferdinand etc. we are light at left back and CDM too. In forward positions we are blessed but defensively (especially if we don’t have walker) we aren’t great.

Makes me laugh because numerous top level professional international and club level coaches see him good enough to play for club and country and watch him week in week out. Then we get casual England fans who just go “nah he’s shit” ok then 😂

Robins did massively praise the medical team the other day, they have really gotta earn their crust in April though.I usually hate international breaks but this one is perfect timing for our squad
