    So it begins....

"Bless them getting all excited about a trip up to a big club for their cup final" I thought we were going to Sunderland on Saturday, hardly a massive Club. This goes back to the point I made before - deluded the lot of them.

Match Thread Sunderland vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 13th Apr

I've mentioned it on a different thread, but I believe if City can find their clinical edge then we can beat Sunderland. It won't be easy, they have a decent side, but they're susceptible in defence and have some injury worries. 2-1 City, 90th minute winner from Baka - limbs in the away end.

    So it begins....

I'm happy to admit I've never met every single Sunderland fan, so the chances there are a few good ones out there, unfortunately the minority that I have met have been obnoxious and deluded - all seem to think they're super big club that should be challenging the top of English Football. I pay...

    So it begins....

Just browsing Sunderland and where they stand at the moment. McGeady, Maguire and McGeouch are all doubtful, while Cattermole is the only player likely to come back into their line up. They drew last night with Burton after going behind in the game and look susceptible in defence. City have...

    So it begins....

This game feels like it has an edge to it, the Sunderland lot don't really like us and the feeling is mutual, personally I'm yet to meet at least one of their fans who isn't an obnoxious, deluded fuckwit. If we concentrate on the game we can beat them - no doubt in my mind.

    If we move

I would attend, unsure to what extent at present, something which would depend on where the Club was groundsharing.

New Statement from SISU re. Council

I don’t believe they will stop. SISU believe there is clearly a case to be answered hence the repeated challenges in court. Regarding the consequences I’m pretty sure SISU don’t give two hoots tbh.

New Statement from SISU re. Council

The statement today from Cllr Duggins is laughable, as you've said Chief it does not address any of the issues raised by SISU. How long did it take for Cllr Duggins to come up with this and who did he consult beforehand? It's suicidal from CCC.

    Rumour...

I would imagine that's the case.

    final game at the Ricoh..

The Trust hasn't been fit for purpose for a long time, let alone now.

New Statement from SISU re. Council

What the Wasps are doing is essentially emotional blackmail to get SISU to drop the legals. They can churn out the same line that they've been doing up to now, but they're fully aware of the consequences that could have on CCFC, which I wouldn't imagine they've given a second thought to.

New Statement from SISU re. Council

Exactly BSB, I wouldn't imagine that there is one person that believes SISU are doing the Club any favours by continuing to challenge the legal aspect of the deal that saw the Ricoh sold to the Wasps, but legally they're entitled so CCC and Wasps need to stop jumping behind the litigation as an...

    Rumour...

In the CCFC statement from Tuesday last week; The EFL has asked the Club to provide a full update to its board on 11th April regarding the stadium situation for next season. This update will cover the various options that have been put forward by the Club and any further developments that...

New Statement from SISU re. Council

SISU are within their legal rights to challenge any outcome in court, therefore as much as the council/Wasps think they're being a nuisance, SISU are simply exploring the channels available to them. Wasps/Council could talk to SISU/CCFC about an agreement to remain at the Ricoh, however they...

    Rumour...

Like any rumour it's irrelevant until its confirmed or denied, therefore I would pay no attention to it.

    Rumour...

Is this the same as the rumour we were going to Rugby, MK Dons or the planet Mars?

    CWR tonight

When you say “they” do you mean CCFC or CWR?

New Statement from SISU re. Council

I really want this matter sorted, but when I see these statements and the suggestions made about the Council and their behaviour it infuriates me.

    Priorities

I stopped short of reading the remainder of your OP when I saw this line. You care more about our City than CCFC, which essentially means you were happy for the Council and ACL to bring in a franchised Rugby Club from London and shove two fingers in the face of not just CCFC, but also Coventry...

    Woodlands

Interesting question. Wimbledon are currently building a 11,000 seater-stadium which will allegedly cost nearly £16m - it should be noted that the stadium could be expanded to 20,000 in the future, which I imagine will mean the cost of a 20,000 seater-stadium will come close to the £25m for...
