I wish him well. He was excellent for us but sadly is no longer of the required standard, which is a shame because he is just the sort of player we need. I would have him back, not as a player but as a defensive coach.

I’m not convinced because most of his good work seems to be when he cuts inside from the left. That said, once we have hopefully escaped from the spectre of relegation this will be a good season to experiment and this might be one of the things worth trying.
