Another one !!! - Ben Wilson

The proof is in the pudding, but we shouldn't write the lads off before we've seen them line up in City colours.

Another one !!! - Ben Wilson

He played okay, was the busier out of the two keepers on the pitch that day, both goals he was exposed by decent play from City and intricate passing. Seemed okay, I do think he will be a 2nd choice keeper to start with.

    New Keeper signed! Marko Marosi

If we were signing a keeper who was perceived to be the finished article and the best in every aspect then it wouldn't make sense as they'd be playing at the top level.

    New Keeper signed! Marko Marosi

Don't know too much of him, other than he played a decent role in Donny's playoff bid. It's another keeper that is susceptible from crosses (made an error at Sunderland live on Sky), but positively Marosi can use his feet and play out - which I think Robins highlighted as a reason to signing...

You don't get anywhere by burying your head in the sand

I love that John Stretton account, three times I have challenged it with factual information and never had a response. Just a WUM account clearly.

    Next Seasons Confirmed Squad/Transfer Rumours

Peterbrough Today are suggesting we are also looking at Aaron Chapman, again a Goalkeeper.

    This Week

It would look good if Wasps could re-open discussions with CCFC, the perception it would give of Wasps overall would be positive. Financially they could also benefit with CCFC being at the Ricoh.

    This Week

I think it's been said a couple of times in the thread, but this week is hugely important for the Club. As it stands the Club needs to seal a Groundshare agreement as the Ricoh doesn't appear to be an option. A couple of posts re the Wasps offer to meet PSB - can't really see the point of it...

    The Ricoh..

They tried to shaft ACL and the Council, by which you mean agreeing to HOT with both of the aforementioned parties before a London Rugby franchise was moved up to Coventry, because it was deemed more favourable? That terrible SISU :banghead:

    The Ricoh..

Nobody is "pro-sisu" what people do see is that there is more than one party to blame. SISU should've bought 50% of the Arena in 2007, something I will agree with, but attempting to justify yourself with a play of words is pathetic, regardless of what should've happened in 2007 when SISU did...

    The Ricoh..

Okay, so let me ask you a question. If ACL had bought the Wasps in 2012 do you think ACL would have continued to run Wasps day-to-day business from Adams Park in Wycombe or from the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, the hint in this is the name Arena Coventry Limited. You're playing on words and a WUM...

Technically SISU hasn't broken any conditions on this occasion.

    The Next Statement

Why give Wasps what they want, they said to CCFC that they would talk on the basis of there being no court action. The complaint to the EC isn't technically court action, so maybe they should swallow the pill and get around the table themselves instead of using the Ricoh discussions as a...

CCFC statement; Coventry City Football Club has no comment to make at this time regarding media reports overnight. Talks continue with Wasps Holdings Limited regarding extending our tenancy at the Ricoh Arena

    The Ricoh..

It could take an undefined length of time for the EC to come to a decision.

    The Ricoh..

SISU don't need to distress the insects, they're in a bad position as it is. Can't afford to make any new signings ahead of the new Premiership season. Can't pay off the Ricoh. Millions in debt. I would go mental, you're right, only for the reason that we are putting a London franchise ahead...

    The Ricoh..

As a fan of Coventry City I don't want a long-term rent deal at the Ricoh. I'd consider a joint ownership with the insects, but playing second fiddle to Wasps is not even remotely appealing.
