No ball was given pretty quickly for something that looked very close, especially given it was at a stage of the day where the line pretty much isn't there any more Fine margins, the no ball, missed stumping and missed caught behind, as well as that one that's just gone between keeper and slip...

Think there may have been concern about workload. They don’t really know how much Stokes will be able to bowl and Wood can only be used in short bursts.

Why was Sunak watching the first ball of the ashes over 2 hours after it happened? Almost like he doesn’t give a shit but his PR team told him to do it

    Coventry gigs

this has got way worse since covid. its band enough at something like the gig you were at but when you're going to see singer / songwriters playing acoustic and all you can hear is people chatting its completely ruins the night

    Euro qualifiers 2024

I'm not sure I actually understand what the rule is anymore. They seem to be going with any contact with the hand no matter if its intentional or in a natural body position The one last night are the one in the champions league final were nonsense

    Nottingham Serious Incident

that kind of shit is exactly why I stay on my followed feed on twitter instead of that shitty curated feed. I don't need to be getting drawn into that shit

    Nottingham Serious Incident

I've not really followed the social media side of this story so someones going to have to explain. Did it not turn out to be who it was originally reported, or not reported I guess, to be?

I go to Edgbaston regularly. Got offered hospitality for day 4 earlier in the week for less than 25% of the price it was originally. Fair to say people are wary of paying for what only be an hour or two or potentially even a game over in 3 days

The casual acceptance of the all MPs lie thing by pretty much everyone is probably at least in part a reason we've ended up where we are. Instead of it being deemed unacceptable we're just given MPs a pass so they've pushed it further and further

    JSB Packages

Saw the Christmas party one mentioned a while back. Essentially there’s way too many members now for an event like that to be in any way manageable

    The Mill

will be interesting to see how they work this as there's only one regular food and drink outlet for the whole of that stand and there's still a few blocks of regular seats in there. you can't really just say tough luck, there's nothing available for those supporters.

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

Why would it be amateurish? That's how these things work in pretty much every line of the entertainment industry, which essentially is the field corporate is operating in. You charge the highest price first and if you don't sell them you look at lowering the price or reaching out to people with...

    New pitch at CBS

Wonder how that works with other events on the pitch. Surely there will be some safeguards in place around what use it gets and who pays if someone else fucks it up

    The Club Shop

Wasn’t there a job advertised for something to do with merchandising recently? not hard to improve the offering, seems easy money. Plenty of people would buy all sorts of junk if it was half decent

    Newcastle

Really? Think there was plenty of Newcastle supporters that weren't too keen on it. Surely you can see the difference between someone using a club they own for cheap advertising and the current owners paying massively over market value.

Got to admit as they were inching towards 600 I thought they'd left the declaration too late but we Notts 5 down before they hit 3 figures its looking good as long as the thunderstorms don't interrupt things
