Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

The number 1 and 2 songs on the Billboard 100 are both singers who have been outed for being racist. I’m both cases as soon as that happened sales went through the roof

    Ashes 2023

My money is on the Hundred changing to T20 and the Blast being binned off, it's already being pushed to the fringes. Or it will be a 2nd tier competition for the players not in the Hundred like they've done with the One Day Cup.

    Boddy and Comms at Club

I wish my life was in a place where I had the energy to be bothered about not getting a new kit until a couple of weeks into the season We know the club has ben run like shit and on a shoestring and it's pretty clear things are changing but there's a lot to change. Is it ideal? Of course not...

    Luton Ground

May well have been done / is planned to be done as part of the remedial works by Frasers as they weren't actually up to the standard required to broadcast championship games. Like everything left to rot by the insects

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

In other transport related news Sunak is in the Telegraph today saying he is ordering a review of low traffic neighbourhoods and is on the side of motorists, obviously apart from actually maintaining road or doing anything about the high price of fuel and level of vehicle crime. Think we've...

Wasn't one of the benefits of HS2 supposed to be that you'd no longer need Birmginham to London trains on the existing line freeing up capacity. Given that its now not likely to go to Euston anytime soon what are the odds that the existing routers will stay in use

He turns 41 tomorrow. Know he's said he wants to go to India and has no plans to retire but he can't go on for ever. Wonder what odds you can get on him announcing his retirement tomorrow and they go together.

Brexit certainly was a tragedy for people who didn't want to wake up one day to discover their bank account was being shut down https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2020/11/eu-bank-accounts-closed-brexit/

Wimbledon sold out on day 1

Shouldn’t be too hard to match ticket numbers with tickets scanned for entry. Deduct points for those who do this. obv you’d still have a problem with games like Leicester where people will be able to sell them on so the ticket still gets used

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

I've just started watching the Bear and not sure I really get it. About half way through season one and not a whole lot seems to be happening. As a comedy drama there doesn't seem to be a lot of either

At least the club are engaging on this which has to be a positive. The question has to be if you can't safely have more than 30,175 in the stadium how did they have an attendance of 32,128 for the England Women's match earlier this year?

    CBS looking tired

You do have to wonder where it all went. The amount they got for the Commonwealth Games compared to the work actually done doesn't seem to line up and clearly it didn't go on maintenance

I know someone that is involved in the management of the catering provision and they said the facilities were on such a bad state things were having to be prepared offsite From the sounds of things a lot of it was beyond repair and they’ve ripped everything out and started again

I suspect the answer is the number of people stood in the concourse drinking beer. If those people could take their pint back to their seat at half time there would be a lot more room
