    miracle needed

I think we agreed a sell-on clause rather than a fee, but I could be wrong.

    Waggott on twitter

I'm sitting on the fence with Shaw, but to be fair to the guy he has said a number of times that he hasn't had the time to instill his footballing values on the players due to the number of games. The new manager, whoever it is, may well take time to get to know the players and instill his own...

Would you take midtable in the league and a JPT final ?

No. It's the lower-league equivalent to the Zenith Data Cup and the trophy is made out of the tin foil from packets of Rolo's. Many people believe that it's shit or bust this season, and I'd rather not risk them being right in exchange for a day out in smoggy London.

    Fightback against the boo boys

I think Cardiff is a tough one, as post-war I would argue that they aren't as successful as us, however during the past decade they have been consistently higher placed. Their fan base is bigger and their stadium is top-notch. It's the toss of a coin unless you base it on the past ten years. QPR...

    Fightback against the boo boys

The wife often starts booing when we're in the sack, and I have to be honest it does affect my performance.

Cody McDonald and Adam Barton :thinking about:

    Forget promotion

I for one won't 'forget promotion' 9% of the way through a season. The negativity surrounding the club (and this forum) is understandable but also ultimately futile. To put things into perspective the majority agree that this season has so far been tough/poor but we have lost 1 game out of 7. We...

Here we go again.... Hussey shows the finger

 The centre back just has to defend, the striker just has to score. This is easy. Perhaps we don't need a new manager then. We could just point the players at your educated posts and save ourselves a few bob.

Here we go again.... Hussey shows the finger

Since he's been here he's had to adapt to league football while playing for, let's be frank and honest, a consistently woeful team, with several managers with different styles of play. It's the same in any workplace - it takes time to understand the new role you're asked to play. He'll have...

Here we go again.... Hussey shows the finger

So far, in 7 games, some so-called fans have managed to piss off Kilbane and Hussey. How does this help the club? How does this improve their performances? How does this encourage other players to come to the club? It's a self-defeating act, and quite pathetic.

Here we go again.... Hussey shows the finger

Yeah, we've got one proper left-back in the squad, it's recognised that he's a player who struggles when he's lacking in confidence, and people boo him. How constructive.

    Yep. Also the Leyland Daf.

Looks like a strong team. Surprised, but then the Sherpa Van Trophy is a winnable one I guess.

    Nigel Adkins

Sacked for performing a minor miracle in getting them there in the first place? All you need to know about modern football is in that one suggestion.

    Chris Wilder

500 games in management and some people are saying he's inexperienced? Really? Tell you what, shall we boo him during his first game then? Sheesh, this forum is becoming like one of those suicide ones the Daily Mail bang on about.

Is that certain age about 14 then..? They've only been gone 4 or 5 years.:p

    Interesting read

What I find interesting is the fact that we only have a couple of people in the list with a positive goal difference, and both of those were short(ish) term appointments in Nilsson and Black. Overall we are -145 on GD with the managers listed. Average goals /score per game is 1.1 v 1.4.

    Kevin Blackwell

Blackwell is no longer listed on the oddschecker site. What does that mean in terms of his chances? As a non-better I assume that he's either ruled himself out or they've stopped taking bets on him?
