Great knock that from Hain. No doubt will no go back to being ignored by England when they're playing someone better than Ireland

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

I'm getting over my second bout of covid. Far worse this time. I started feeling rough just before bank holiday weekend, bad enough to cancel all plans but not bad enough to be off work. Stuggled on when I probably should have stayed off and rested, test after test coming back negative. Then 5...

Match Thread vs Cardiff (A) 19/09/23

Decent finish that. Bloke gets a hell of a lot of stick when he seems to be the only person at the club who knows how to put the ball in the net

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

David Jason would have to be stuff from years ago surely? Although it seems a new series of Open All Hours was commissioned by the BBC but has never actually made it to production so maybe something more recent. Fielding would be a strange one for Channel 4, wouldn't that mean they'd have to...

Got to be more than just him for all this fuss, it's been an open secret for years that he's a wrong un. He's already being backed by Musk and Tate which tells you all you need to know :ROFLMAO:

You clamp down on the source, ie the breeders. It’s completely unregulated at the moment and breeders largely fall in to two categories. There’s responsible breeders who will require multiple visits, checks on the suitability of yourself and your home as part of a long and in depth process...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Well I'm not going to claim to be an expert but numerous organisations that are have been pressuring the government for years to take action and have been ignored. I tend to side with the likes of the Dogs Trust, Kennel Club, RSPCA, SPCA, British Vets Association and Blue Cross, among others...

Banning the breed will do little, we've been here before so it's just adding another breed to the list and will end up with well trained and well behaved dogs being seized and killed. Another dog will take the XL bullys place and before you know it the same discussion will be taking place about...

    Care homes

The care system is not fit for purpose in the slightest. The admin and contradictory advice is never ending. When you've got a close relative nearing the end of their life the last thing you want to be dealing with is paperwork but that takes up so much of your time It's hard to even find...

A lot of people are putting the minimum into their pensions because they simply can't afford more. Then you just get to the lottery of will your parents assets be taken away before they are passed on to you. It really is just luck of the draw, you're hoping your parents have a decent amount of...

Who signs off on this stuff? I'm starting to wonder if the tories haven't managed to embed people into Starmers team, basic stuff seems to be so badly executed time and time again.

    Care homes

Apologies to Otis for hijacking his thread but does anyone have experience with getting a lawyer involved in funding issues. Long story short my Dad is nearly 20 months in to having 6 months maximum left and they've suddenly decided they're taking his funding away with only a couple of weeks...

    Care homes

I'd be amazed if that got queried. Think they're more after people giving away thousands, hundred quid here and there isn't going to make much difference to where you are on the scale From everything I've read its down to a pattern of behaviour. So if he's never given anyone a penny and then...

Taking your own food/drink into the CBS

At Edgbaston they encourage you to take a reusable bottle and having filling points all round the ground. Works pretty well. Was at Wembley Arena yesterday and they have the same there, although you couldn't take a bottle in but the water points all had a well stocked supply of paper cups.
