You know full well that’s not what I’m saying. Dabo may have been scouted whilst playing in Holland but he’s English and signed from an English club so is therefore NOT a foreign signing. It’s really not that difficult

I never said overseas players are crap. I’m more interested how you calculate an English player equates to an overseas signing. The only water he crossed to come to us was the Thames

Viveash already knew about him as has been pointed out to you numerous times. Again, we didn’t sign him from overseas, we signed him from Chelsea.

Dabo was born and raised in London and signed for us from Chelsea. Maybe geography wasn’t your strongest subject at school!

He was playing in Scotland, which is a part of the United Kingdom. It’s not like signing someone from overseas. It’s not a foreign signing

How is Rose a foreign signing?

We have signed a player that overall has a decent record at this level. He’s an upgrade on most of our forwards. He didn’t have a great season last year but he didn’t score many less than our current forwards in a side that finished 11 points behind us. He gives us experience in this league...

He wasn’t an ‘up and coming’ player at 27 was he. He’d been a lower league journeyman

Godden is 29 so only 2 years younger than Waghorn. Also Derby offered him a new contract so wasn’t released. He didn’t have a great season but no one at Derby did, doesn’t mean he’s a bad player

I’m not sure you know what a journeyman is. Moore had been at Sheffield United for five years so not like he drifted from club to club like journeymen do and Waghorn has been a very good player at this level for a few years. Honestly, who were you expecting us to bring in?

How has the recruitment been desperate? We needed a keeper so we signed one. We needed a forward with championship pedigree and we got one. Sheaf was already agreed. This Bright rumour is exactly that. I’ll trust Robins’ judgement

I think after last season Sheaf will have learned a lot from playing and training with Kelly and James and I hope he can continue to improve as he could potentially make us a lot of money

He is a key member of our team, I’m taking purely football ability

To be fair I’m with Boosh on this one. Although they’re both defensive midfielders Sheaf is a better footballer. Kelly has qualities such as leadership, organisation and influence. But based purely on ability Sheaf is ahead of Kelly
