    Why so little to Rotherham?

Cut the divisive crap, we are all ccfc fans. The word franchise is generally only used by those who attend sixfields, those that dont go rarely use that word. For instance, you are the only one in this thread that's made full reference to it. Like you say currently ccfc isn't a...

Fairweather? This has been the worst season in 130 years. If this has been your idea of a good season I'd hate to experience a bad one.

    Why so little to Rotherham?

Yep. Generally the word franchise is used by sixfields attendees to try and discredit the boycotters who went to MK Dons. Do you think Ccfc is a franchise club?

Why, who else is a franchise club?

    Why so little to Rotherham?

This is the future im afraid. Novelty of just attending away games is wearing off, numbers will inevitably fall. I myself went to the MK Dons game with a strong feeling it would be the last time I ever watch ccfc.

3300 total attendance is still piss poor anyway. Second lowest in league 1, lower than all but a few league 2 teams. The fact that 3k is considered a big crowd tells everything you need to know. Today has changed nothing. Comparable fixture last year (New Years Day) brought in over 15k.

So apart from the name, what connection does Ccfc have with Coventry anymore?

What's the difference between that and getting on the bus to the Ricoh? I never found either particularly difficult to get to, and be it HR, the Ricoh, or Sixfields, accessibity has never influenced by decision to go or not go.

Never understood the whole HR was easy to get to thing. I remember being sat in horrendous traffic jams up there.

What should the local authority have done then? I have this old fashioned idea that in a democracy the local authority tries to look after all and carries out the wishes of the majority. I doubt the majority of the 300k Coventrians would be happy about the Ricoh being gifted away. Also I find...

And if a large retail park is near Coventry then Coventry Council can legitimately object. Nuneaton and Bedworth borough objected (unsuccessfully) about the size of Arena Tesco on the grounds it would entice shoppers away from Bedworth Town Centre.
