We don’t need pace upfront - it’s an obsession. Gyokeres is big, quick and strong for his size and has caused problems in every game he’s played in so far. Even Walker has decent pace, movement and strength for his size. As for Godden, his movement and the finishing for that goal yesterday is...

Agreed, I think there are attributes to be developed there! His performances are not great though. I don’t think it’s a faith issue - last season MR would’ve started Pask rather than DaCosta. Probably a falling out.

Funny how they weren’t complaining about the time being past the minimum amount of stoppage time when they had the corner (and probably their best chance of the half). They defended the clearance very poorly and the referee couldn’t justifiably call time on the game there.

Agreed, the African cup of nations kits were really good! I like some of their international kits too. Club football, I think some Arsenal kits were alright. But, Adidas has since done a much better job.

Only time will tell, but judging from Robins’ comments, he still rates Kelly v highly and is probably still his first choice. That said, Sheaf is doing v well and if he keeps this up, he will definitely stake a claim. In our team, we definitely need one of Kelly or McFadz in the starting line...
