I really hope, that to arrest the decline in momentum, we can beat Bristol - by no means a given - and get a point at Southampton. Middlesbrough have a run of generally easier games coming up and I expect them to be ahead of us in a few weeks time. It is important to keep a good gap to third.

The fact that Torp isn't starting presumably means he hasn't recovered fully. That's a shame because he is definitely one of those players we miss. We will also miss MVE both generally and also specifically for his long throws.
