    JCH

I think he’s out on good size since he’s left us. Looks more robust and skilful on the ball. I’ll be honest, when he shoved McFadz off a ball in the first 5-10m, I was worried. After that point, he won a few flick ons but they went nowhere near his teammates and it felt like McFadz et al were...

I’d be happy with a point, 3 points would be fantastic and a statement that we’re not messing around this season.

Based on our form, you’d have to make us favourites for that game. Which I actually feel kind of ridiculous saying. 5 consecutive home wins and haven’t conceded in our last 3. Faced opposition strikers of Moore, JCH and Ikpeazu in those games - all very respectable strikers.

Our home form is actually unreal at the minute. We’re very comfortable defensively and in possession. On top of that, we’re so patient (perhaps too much at times) in our chance creation too. Kane looks like a v good signing, his crossing today was very good. I’m Peterborough were a poor...

    Crowd v Peterborough

There’s that factor but I also think it being a Friday night helps too! It’s not like a Saturday when people will have day plans.

    Crowd v Peterborough

Could be just my friendship group, but a few neutrals are going to the game so I’m personally optimistic that we’ll hit around 19-20k.

    Best midfield pairing

Based on current viewing: Home fixtures - Allen and Hamer Away fixtures - Sheaf and Hamer I think Allen has offered a good outlet in a deeper role in the home games. However, with our away form, we probably do need to keep things a bit more conservative. Kelly will be in the conversation...

    Dabo's suspension

Agreed, I was a bit embarrassed to be honest. However, you see similar instances where the player buys the foul, albeit with a bit more guile.

    Passport Control

I’m very much against vaccine passports. I don’t think business will robustly enforce the regulations if they ever came into force anyway. That seemed to be the takeaway from Israel’s experiment with it. A few philosophical objections to it. First, the government doesn’t have the right to force...

Gyo will only improve too. There’s a couple of occasions where his final ball is lacking, the most recent example being the Godden chance. He’s been a revelation. I thought he was a good signing, perhaps someone who would grow into the season. He’s taken this season by the scruf of the neck...

Everything about the goal was class tonight. Allen’s through ball, O’Hare’s subtle flick onto Gyo. The finish was perfect and at the perfect moment right before he was closed down. You can tell we’re an outfit that has a clear identity, the continuity of management and players and everything is...

    Hyam

Funny to hear you mention McFadz’s leadership when in preseason you said something along the lines of it being the mindset of a minnow team. I do agree McFadz is a great leader and this is important. Hyam is clearly respected within the Group because Robins has made him captain a couple of...

    Hyam

@shmmeee is guilty of the Arteta selection method for centre backs. The priority for the centre backs is not how they use the ball. If anyone has watched the last two games - I think it’s fair to say Hyam’s distribution is better than the 6 CBs we’ve faced.

He’s the natural successor to McFadz at this point. In fact, he generally wins more aerial duals than him too. Really surprised at how good our defence has been despite it being a concern going into Day 1.

Middlesborough have a tall and physical team too and Allen played v well against them. He breezed past them in the midfield. Allen looks good this season, in fact, I’d go as far to say he’s on the path to prove a lot of naysayers, including myself, wrong about him.

Middlesborough are also a v big side and they didn’t cause us much issues besides hitting the crossbar. Personally, I think we’ll draw this one too but we’ll be favourites. Cardiff’s away games have been: - Forest - Peterborough - Blackpool Two are those are in the bottom two and Blackpool...

To be frank, I’m surprised he even took the Middlesbrough job because they weren't really looking strong before he came in. I really rate Warnock, his resume speaks for itself and Middlesbrough would probably wouldn’t do as well without him.

I thought we looked like a very classy side today and our performances have been very good so far. Feeling confident against Cardiff and if we can improve our away form, I think we could be a top 9 team.

False equivalency, but Warnock has undoubtedly had a better career. Robins has been great for us and I’d rather have him than just about anyone as things stand.

    England v Andorra

And Bamford scored 17 goals last season. How anyone thinks that team would finish 16th in the Prem isn’t the sharpest tool. Even Coady and Mings are two solid Prem CBs. I was at the game yesterday, it was a nice atmosphere but it was a pretty dour game. With the greatest of respect, the likes...
