It was 12,500. Lowest gate of that season. The average was only 16,000 that season,but they started to rise the year after that and were around the 20K mark for a last 4 or 5 PL seasons.

It's 20,000. It doesn't really matter now. Sales will slow to a trickle until the next big rush in a couple of weeks. Everyone can take a breath.

Went in top tier once, thought view was fine actually, but I was fairly close to the front.

Not so sure. The middle tier you speak of above, is actually the back part of the lower tier. The real middle tier is Club Wembley and is not available. Not sold 21K yet, more like 17-18.
