    The holiday 2023 thread

Anyone been to Romania? 2025 ice hockey world championships are in Sfantu Gheorghe, was hoping it might be relatively affordable.

Work with a Wolves season ticket holder, his has gone up over 20% and he's not happy.

Transfer Rumour Raphael Borges Rodriguez signs for Coventry

I don't know why the club bothers to employ scouts. They should just come on here where everyone is an expert on every player without having ever seen them play

    FA allows sex discrimination

Interesting point. Plenty of sports at recreational level have mixed teams, how do they cope? What do non-elite sports that increasingly encourage female officials for games between male teams do?

    Season tickets for 2024/2025 season

Action being taken over Live Nation having a monopoly by the same people who waved through Live Nations merger that created a monopoly when everyone else in the industry was screaming it would be a huge problem. Don't hold your breath for anything meaningful to come from this.

    FA allows sex discrimination

What are you criteria you are applying to establish if someone meets your threshold for reporting?

    FA allows sex discrimination

Heard someone who has studied this mention their concern that 'advantage' and 'unfair advantage' are being used interchangeably. A 7 foot basketball player has an advantage over a 6 foot basketball player. Nobody is suggesting basketball players be segregated by physical characteristics.

    FA allows sex discrimination

You mentioned in an earlier post your concern that 'women and girls are being put off' from playing sport. I'm not sure that singling out individuals and reporting them for what seems to equate to not looking feminine enough is going to create a welcoming atmosphere.

    New Kit Sponsor?

Why do you need to know? Genuinely don't understand the fascination. We will either have a sponsor at the start of the season or we won't. If we have one they may or may not have a shit logo that ruins the shirt. Why would supporters be entitled to, or even want to, know what happens in...

    FA allows sex discrimination

The thing that always strikes me about this is who polices this? Has anyone on here ever been asked to prove their gender, at birth or otherwise, when entering a public toilet or changing facility? You mention 'they may be discreet, respectful, use a cubicle etc' so if we're assuming nobody is...

    FA allows sex discrimination

Who is going to play in that? Heard this being discussed on the radio and one of the experts they had on pointed out it would be a struggle to get enough players to form an England squad and then you'd have the issue of who they would play. Zero chance trans players can be pushed to the...

    New Kit Sponsor?

I don't get this, we had a white logo on a white and blue kit, yet somehow that was shit but a multicolour Monzo logo plaster on the front of the kit will look fantastic. tbh I don't get all the upset about the sponsor in general. Few years back we had some proper shit sponsors, and at one...

    Family zone ticket exchange

what makes you think there wouldn't have been a similar uproar if there had been a huge increase in the price of season tickets in that part of the ground. Lets be honest, we've got a very vocal section of our fanbase who just love to moan and find fault with everything look at all the moaning...

    Family zone ticket exchange

Club wouldn't need to do anything if our own supporters hadn't tried to game the system for their own advantage. As usual we create a problem then moan when something is done to try and fix it. Plenty of posts in here last season about how many people were in the family zone with no kids in tow...

    Season tickets for 2024/2025 season

Went on sale 3rd May last year and passed 10K on 8th June, went on sale 13th May this year and passed 10K on 22nd May. Not sure how anyone could translate that into sales are poor.

    Family zone ticket exchange

Not sure there's a whole lot different to what most sane people would have expected. A lot of the drama seems to have kicked off on the basis of 'my mate was told in the ticket office' type stuff.

    Season tickets for 2024/2025 season

when during a game are people finding time to wander round the concourse, or maybe the question should be why would you want to? I'm lucky if I can get a cuppa / pint from the nearest kiosk and be back in my seat for the start of the second half!

    Family zone ticket exchange

Looks like they've taken everything on board and tried to make it part of the terms and conditions. Not sure there can really be too many complaints with what they've come up with. We all know there's people taking the piss and they're the people they want to stop. As with kids ticket prices...

    Season tickets for 2024/2025 season

The unknown here is how the SAG will act. Now they've allowed a standing area will they be putting pressure on the club to enforce the regulations in other parts of the ground, that could even have been part of the agreement. Give the OK to safe standing on the understanding there will be little...
