    O'Hare

Hope we can hold on. He really kicked on second half of the season, far more end product and only really shooting to work on. Another season of progression and he could be back in the prem

Yeah, wasn’t surprised, let’s be honest, he’s weak and he probably did lie. It will be interesting when he is interviewed by the select committee in a couple of weeks. Key questions, as many have said all along, relate to inadequate PPE supplies and releasing elderly back into care homes...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Spot on. I think Hancock is in big trouble though (rightly, as he’s well out of this depth). Watched quite a bit this morning, very interesting. If I get this right he’s said government was shit, civil service was shit, initial scientific advice was shit, Johnson was shit and should never be...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Its kind of irrelevant though Faz. It’s what the public think that matters. Whatever the Tories were saying about Cummings, the Barnard castle incident damaged the government quite a bit at the time because of public perception From memory that was peak Starmer polling time

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

He does appear to have knack of getting out of scrapes ! His luck will run out eventually though unless he gets better people around him as he’s got a lot of enemies (even in some in the right wing press, MPs of his own party, obviously people like Cummings etc, as well as the left) Labour need...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

The public are funny though. It’s like he’s now tagged with a loser badge so people are dropping support. It was some council seats and bi-election in the middle of a pandemic (during a vaccine bounce)...and the momentum is with the government Starmer does appear to need to come out with a...

The sceptic in me always felt this was done intentionally because if you split it into smaller groupings like the other age ranges the younger uns would see it’s unlikely to impact them so may be less likely to follow restrictions. There’s been loads of manipulation of stats by the government...

I’ve been keeping an eye on hospitalisations and there is a bit of an uptick (PHE page). Just hoping this is higher risk groups that haven’t been vaccinated (guessing from the Indian variant hot spots) and the case rate remains steady. The next week or two should provide a clearer picture...

Think they’re hoping for under 30s by the end of the week. not sure if they’re splitting into sub age groups/ranges through...I’d lump them all in together

There should be a ‘neither agree/nor disagree’ option for the answers but interesting none the less

    Boxing Tonight

Yeah, very good fight. Unbelievable Taylor’s become undisputed after only 18 pro fights. Wasn’t sure if he’d have the power to deter Ramirez/keep him off (as there’s been rumours that the weights been an issue recently)...glad to be proved wrong... two cracking punches to put Ramirez down.

Its certainly been a weird 14-15 months ! Maybe the vodka helped minimise the reaction....🤔...to be fair I’ve heard Pfizer usually causes less side effects so hopefully just a bit of a sore arm is it

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

This all comes down to whether people want a protectionist trade policy or not. People understandably have different views depending on their personal circumstances (job, finance, views on opening up trade for developing countries to grow etc etc). There will always be winners and losers on both...

Yeah, things like that, test events, testing hospitality in certain locations should've been rolled out a lot quicker. Everyone’s been firefighting to some extent I guess but limited forward looking strategy from us and/or most other countries

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Agree with this Pete. If there’s huge numbers of vacancies in any sector/employer it either suggests there either isn’t the staff available or the wages aren’t enough. I think with nurses it’s the latter. Pretty much the whole country would support a decent rise for front line health workers...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

We shouldn’t be having council leaders being paid far more than the PM. Makes no sense. I’d have no issue with a PM getting £200k-£300k
