Gyokeres needs to get his head up earlier and choose his moments to dribble a bit bette. He's, started to give the ball away a lot recently when he just gets head down and drives at players anywhere on the pitch.

Reminds me of Barnsley last year when they just rotated new players in to do the chopping, as the old ones got booked.

Only slight negative so far is that neither Gyokeres or Waghorn are really working their back line, both dropping pretty deep looking for the ball in similar positions. Not really working as a pair so far.

Was a bit worried about Keith Stroud reffing today but those early yellows should help stamp out their cynical fouling.

Been a very solid start, don't think Preston have strung 3 passes together yet. Their big donkeys can't get close to us when we knock the ball around but are happy to give away cheap free kicks and defend the subsequent corners and free kicks.

Was going to have 10 quid on Waghorn and O'Hare to both score, Hamer to not get booked and MR to use all his substitutions before 65 minutes but decided to just burn the tenner instead.

I've no idea what is really going on but there have been several recent 'off the field' statements and soundbites around finances, all of which have raised as many questions as they've answered. Historically under SISU, when that kind of thing starts happening, there's a kick in the nuts just...

Surprised with the high scores for Vik, thought he was poor in possession tonight and looked absolutely knackered which reflected in his decision making on the few times he did get the ball to feet. Was there when it mattered most though and was a good finish.

Robins must have the most victories by a single goal than any manager in our entire history.

Not just the right pass but the weight of it was perfect too

Robins bringing Shipley on because we beat Bristol with 10 men last time out.

Yeah, possession footballer and we've barely strung 3 passes together this half.

Feel like we've been far too deep since HT and giving the ball away as a result because now the gap between the passing lines is 10 metres further than it was first half. Too happy to counter attack instead of dominate the game.

Gets very blinkered when he plays up top on his own and doesn't get many touches.

Just can't see where their threat is going to come from barring a clanger from someone. Our box is better than their diamond, no real aerial threat from anyone but their CB Klose, not a physical side either. Wouldn't be surprised to see Pearson change it up at HT.

11 passes, mostly sideways and then BOOM. The urgency and execution from Hamer.
