They must have been shocked to wake up this morning and discover that child poverty is a thing, if only someone had mentioned it before

JSB now exclusive to Season Tickets

The what? Are you saying an adult could sign non-existent kid up for the JSBs and then get in for less than the price of an adult ticket? That would actually be a logical explanation. If they've seen a sudden rise in new members in line with people not renewing in the family zone. Does seem a...

Have I missed something? I don't recall Starmer or Reeves saying they weren't removing the cap but were going to spend billions on other measures to help life children out of poverty? All I've seen is Starmer and Reeves parroting theirs no money to any questions before starting to change their...

JSB now exclusive to Season Tickets

Can't really work out the thinking behind this one. Only thing I can come up with is that there's lots of members who don't go to games and therefore they make a loss as potentially the stuff they send you costs more than the membership but surely then you'd just change the price.

    Match day prices

One problem here is that the 'cheap seats' are disappearing. When they demolished all the members facilities to build the south stand there was all sorts of promises made that haven't been kept to. If you're a member a lot of the members areas are now closed off to you for 'major matches' as...

I love how its being pushed that both the vote had zero impact and was essentially meaningless but also it was such a crucial thing that Starmer had absolutely no other option than suspending MPs 😂

    Things that annoy you

I used to go to the doctors, get a paper prescription, take it to the chemist and wait 10 minutes max to get my meds. Now I have to request them online, or if I'm at the doctors he does it electronically. But for some reason this has introduced a 48 hour delay between the prescription being...

What happened to "country first, party second"? The most ridiculous part is he's already making noises about removing the cap, and other Labour MPs under pressure from their constituents have clearly been told to issue the same response, that removal of the cap is being considered as part of...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Her first speech was decent, nice change from Trump's rambling nonsense and Biden not seeming to know where he was. Trump going with 'I agreed to debate Biden' to give him a get out of having to debate Harris and also complaining about the network the next debate is due to be aired on. Going...

But isn't that kind of the point? He's already on the ropes with it to the point they're started saying they won't rule out scrapping it in the future. Why suspend MPs over this? It just puts a bigger spotlight on an issue he's already struggling with. If those 7 MPs had voted and nothing had...

Not sure how that makes it better. Most people know how amendments to the Kings Speech work. Don't think that many people thought if Starmer lost the vote, which is to all intents and purposes impossible with the majority he has, the cap would be removed tomorrow.

I don't know what this is supposed to achieve? Even the centrist on my twitter feed are slamming this as well as Labour MPs who have put out statements today saying they were against the cap but haven't voted against it.

IMO makes him look weak and scared of the left of his own party. Every party always has the handful that don't vote in line with the party and its rarely a problem unless its a major issue or causes a vote to be lost. Does he really need to do this for a vote that he's won by 260? Far from...

    Leeds Riots

Was reading about Sweden at the weekend after some of the comments on here made it sound like gangland hell which doesn't really match my experiences there. One of the things that came up repeatedly was that there's a very specific Scandinavian lifestyle and not enough was being done to help...
