I was there for the Man Utd game with Huckerby scoring the winner, which is clearly near the top of the list. My first proper memory was the Middlesboro game with Speedie and Bernie Slaven (?) both getting hat-tricks- I think Speedo climbed the fencing in celebration, but the memory is hazy...

He's under-rated by some, and over-rated by others. I think the measure is whether he'd get in other L1 starting XI's, and I think he would for most teams in this division, although not the top few. That said, I'm a big fan of his, and can only see him improving.

I have the two singles he released with Bombalurina up the loft. Must be worth a fortune now.

His shenanigans with Patrick Stewart made me dislike him. Stewart was drunk and out of order, but Corden was sober and still acted like a big child.

Playing it around at the back is a great way to tire out the opposition, as well as hopefully pulling people out of position. The key is having players that can do it well, and the signs so far are quite positive on that front, aberrations at Pompey aside.
