    Id drop Gyok

Agreed. He also put Hamer through after holding up and running at their defence (hamer poked straight at keeper from 12 yards). Not sure what people are watching sometimes. Holding up the ball with big lump defenders all over you isn’t easy. Second half he was a handful

    Id drop Gyok

I was saying exactly that last night, nobody gets across front post which makes it easier to defend. Seeing our crosses rarely get it over/past first man surely it’s worth a gamble ohare put a couple of decent balls in first half but comfortably defended

Match Thread Birmingham City (H) - 7:45 Tue 23rd Nov

Thats a bit harsh. Just in the second half there was the decent effort by Godden (good save). Vik and Walker should’ve hit the target at the end (Vik should’ve scored). Great play by Vik putting Hamer through, poor finish at keeper. Vik brought down when going through on goal. Maartsen brought...

Played some decent stuff. Just need to be more clinical in final third

Me neither but can understand it if it is that, especially without JCS playing. I think Dabos looked more effective at LWB than RWB recently and Kane’s delivery is best of the three. Grendel might be right but doubt that would’ve been the deciding factor

Harsh on Kane and sheaf but let’s see how it plays out and see what Robins says after (could be knocks, fitness etc involved although reckon probably not in Kane’s case, more needing a left footer)

Agreed. The US gun laws in general are crazy but in particular allowing a minor to have control of a semi automatic....what could go wrong ?! 🤷‍♂️

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

This is spot on and why when I’ve seen media, commentators etc saying we are slipping behind other countries on vaccine roll out, basically because others have been getting kids jabbed, I’ve just put my head in my hands. The key is getting those most at risk ie adults, and more so older adults...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I think most probably agree with you but tax from the cash and assets held by the super rich is largely unobtainable. I find it disgusting that billionaires and big multi millionaires aren’t paying more into the pot (neither they nor their kids need it), however, a lot of the alternative...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Nearly everyone does benefit compared to the current situation. At the moment there is less money going in the pot and there is no real cap on contributions. Billions more is (supposedly) going to make its way into the system hopefully improving care for all. I appreciate the graph below doesn’t...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Hmmm, I accept a lot of the above but who says well off have a stable home ?! Some kids shunted off to boarding schools, many receiving a lack of love or interest from one or both parents and still the possibility of broken homes etc etc. I like people like Ramsey’s views on inheritance (think...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Understand the point but VAT is at least when you choose to buy something. Inheritance tax is just another tax that if you/your family are good citizens you just pay for no direct benefit *I agree with IHT by the way, my earlier comment was just saying to NW that the government would’ve taken a...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

And that’s the point, you make tax/inheritance tax to punitive in normal people’s eyes and many who are ordinarily happy to contribute into the system will do what they can to make sure government doesn’t get their hands on most/any of it

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Lucky great niece !!! To be fair I’d imagine out of a £1m estate the government would’ve still got £270k on (I’m guessing) already taxed income. Not a bad slice...although not as good as the lucky great niece (if you’ve got her number feel free to pass it on 😊)

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

At the moment everyone pays the total value of care barring a tiny sum and many still receive shit care. Nearly everyone benefits from the proposals. One of the main beneficiaries will be younger people who will at least receive some kind of inheritance now (even from average house price) and...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It’s an imperfect solution, however, Im not sure anyone with a house valued at 200k-300k house could be classed as rich ?! I think they will benefit from the new proposals compared to the current system I would’ve preferred some kind of additional contribution from those with assets of say over...

Exactly. Like most clubs though we have a small strange section of fans, some that forget we were quite recently in L2 and yet expect us to have a team full of finished articles…and arent happy unless they can slag off one or two whipping boys from behind their keyboard Most are great though...
