Yeah saw this. It's why it's important to look at the number of new cases each day as well as the death rate. The death rate will continue to rise over the next week or two as that lags behind due to the time it takes Coronavirus to take hold in those affected. Couple of points of note though...

Thanks. I found out today I'm furloughed for 3 months on 80% wages. This I can deal with. But about 11 months ago, I took a 12 month mat cover which ends mid May. I'm therefore not sure what happens mid May? If theres no financial liability for my company (ie it's a grant and the govt pay it)...

Just looked for online shopping. All major supermarkets near me, either cant get on or theres no slots for at least 3 weeks. Will need to go out and do a shop at the weekend I reckon. Safe to do so so long as I keep 2m from everyone, wash my hands with sanitizer as I enter and leave the store...

Working from home which I do most of the time so it's not a massive change from me. Oh, apart from the wife commandeering half of my desk space. Oh, having to look after a 17 month old toddler who seems to have unbelievable reserves of energy. Other than that though, situation normal.

Society isn't going to collapse FFS.... If this virus landed 30 years ago, there would be soooo much less panic than today (albeit medical science has evolved). Social media (this site included) is not good for peoples health/mindset with so many 'experts' around. The truth is, no one on here...
