Ricoh Open Day ... This is how to do it.

No. Adams Park is in Wycombe. LONDON Wasps come from LONDON.

    Seven Years Bad Luck

At least everyone will always remember your highly publicised protest against their ownership at the time.

"The preferred site for the new stadium was revealed..."

I'm not talking about match day revenues, I'm talking about rent. Why would Wasps not want the income from rent? You make a valid point about pitch maintenance, but I very much doubt the clubs rent doesn't more than cover maintenance costs. Then of course there is sponsorship and naming...

"The preferred site for the new stadium was revealed..."

I imagine Wasps have put a bit more thought into their business plan than that. Regardless of how well Wasps are doing, why would they want to turn down the additional revenue associated with the football club playing there? What financial advantages would there be to that?

"The preferred site for the new stadium was revealed..."

Its amazing how often anyone involved with the new stadium is "mis-quoted".

The New Stadium-SISU please tell us the truth!!

Guess my unfair generalisations come from my memory of two of my housemates back then. They seemed more concerned with Save the Palestinian and Stop Bombing Whales than what they were actually at uni for.

The New Stadium-SISU please tell us the truth!!

I was thinking more Newbury Bypass to be honest.

    New pitch incoming

At least now we can play "the Coventry way" for which we have become famous.

The New Stadium-SISU please tell us the truth!!

Regarding Warwick uni, I wouldn't have thought a bunch of lefty professors would be happy throwing their lot in with a highly publicised hedge fund. Also all those students in love with planet earth would likely cause some interference with any building over the fields.

The New Stadium-SISU please tell us the truth!!

Let's hope so. Seen them play in Weston Super Mere once. They were a great laugh!

The New Stadium-SISU please tell us the truth!!

Planning permission couldn't really be granted on that basis. Just as it couldn't be refused out of spite, it cannot be granted out of sympathy.

    Wasps: Good For The City?

Your saying they are full of shit in response to the comment that they are both city fans. Unless you have become a believer in the "superfan" class of city supporter then you shouldnt really question their status of being a fan. Nothing wrong with questioning the decisions any fan takes...

    Wasps: Good For The City?

Yep. Both have spent years going to matches for no reason. You might not like the decisions they've made but you of all people have no right to question someone's loyalty as a fan, and that includes council leaders.

When and where is the JR appeal hearing?

Apparently its in the taxpayers interest to have the taxpayer subjected to large legal costs and potentially a fine.

    This new stadium...

Wasps would have made CCC sign a confidentiality agreement over the negotiations. Sisu or any other bidder would have done the same.

    Wasps: Good For The City?

A lot of people understand it, that doesn't mean they're happy with it.
