But there is no proof the demand is there mate, I'm sure if we go back to the Ricoh for the next 5 years and the attendances are 18k plus every week then they will reconsider the capacity whilst it's being built and add more size on but 18-20k is perfect for where we are right now

And again if it looks like we need it we can quickly add the extra capacity but if we build it as more and we don't need it then it turns into the Ricoh mark 2 and noone wants that. What's wrong with being cautious at the moment, who knows where we will be in 5 years time

But we were at very very best a lower mid table prem club who hardly ever sold out the "small" stadium. Now if we sold out every game and had a waiting list for season tickets it would have been completely different story but we didn't and we failed as a club because of the same people who...

But why run the risk of getting in the same situation as the ricoh and it being too big for us. I'm also sure that once the building has started and it looks like we will need more then they will look to get the modules on sooner than planned, that's the whole point of it :)

Do you not understand the concept of modular buildings? And also with Highfield road, we all know the ricoh was mainly a vanity project for Richardson and his mates and certainly wasn't "necessary" for the club by any stretch of the imagination

Surely if we are at st Andrews they will just open up more of the stadium for us (as they would have to at the Ricoh based on what we had available last time we were there)

But we didn't when we were at Highfield road in the premiership even when we were the "entertainers" in the Keane season, what's the difference now? By your logic if we play badly we won't get the crowds

There is a lot of that about today

The atmosphere was shit when we were fighting for the champ playoffs with Adams in charge, was again with the mowbray team, I don't understand why you have such affinity for the Ricoh, even the first game Vs qpr the atmosphere was shite due to the layout and location of the stadium

The Ricoh was only ever the right choice for Richardson and his mates

So the times we had massive crowds against Chelsea and other big teams and the place was as flat as a pancake, the ground has always been soulless and has never felt like home

Now I know you must be trolling, it's one of the most souless stadiums I've ever been in and has been since day one
