This club has a losing mentality...

Stop handing out 4 year deals might be a good start. Think most would agree there's a decent crop of youngsters in the side. Mixed in with some decent experienced pros (not ones looking for a final paycheque) and the results may come

That's skyblue / navy blue stripes! Oh and TATENEN is owned or maybe ridden by Andy Thornton

    New Kit / New Sponsor

I think an inbetween is needed. The home material is too thick and the away too thin and feels cheap.

Olympic Play Off - Senegal v Oman

Hope you made use of the code someone shared on here. (£1.10 tickets instead of £11) It's meant for schools and group concessions but seemingly it's a code being shared freely - it was in the email the club sent out 2/3 weeks back.

Potential for ticket and other offers

Doubt any such deals will happen. Particulary as Bristol away has just proven, when the fans want to travel in mass numbers, they will.

Football Fans as Consumers - Could this lead to fans switching teams in the future?

Spot on. Have loved following City despite how tough it's been in recent years. And to the blinkered fans previous, yawn- heard it all before. Got nothing to do with them being successful, was only giving my view in relation to the thread title, one which fellow fans of the big clubs will follow.

Football Fans as Consumers - Could this lead to fans switching teams in the future?

So a real fan is one that goes to all the games. I'm sure there's plenty that disagree with varying reasons as to not going to games.

    Millwall attendance

Because halving the price doesn't double the attendance. Though I agree it's the right thing to do a) after the season city have had b) to create an atmosphere where the players might have the chance to pull of the unthinkable and avoid relegation

    Lol @ Man City

Difference being the type of players being brought in, aside for Young (possibly) they aren't big name players. Rather players who have potential and can be moulded to play, think and train the united way. United haven't been at the best (by far) and yet look to have clinched the league with...

Football Fans as Consumers - Could this lead to fans switching teams in the future?

Going to have to strongly disagree. Not for real fans anyway. Speaking as a United fan, whilst expectations are different (aim to win the league every season) doesn't make the success any less enjoyable. Though having been a City ST holder for 6 years (which is nothing compared to some on...

    typical

All football forums the same. Most things in life in fact. When things are going smoothly, stay quiet but kick up a fuss when things go wrong. Shame more don't do that in actual person at the Ricoh on matchday!
