More importantly, great to get such a win going into the international break.

    Match Thread Bristol City (H) - 6th November 3PM

Imagine criticising giving Godden a new contract.... Hopefully some will start seeing how great a striker he is. He might not be quick or have the work rate of others but he's simply a class striker and we're lucky to have him along with Gyo, Walker and Waghorn

First chunk in Robins impenetrable armour?

I don't think Goddens contract extension was illogical bar maybe the length of it. He had a great season in L1 with us, last season was hampered by injuries in our first season of getting used to the step up and this season has scored 1 in 2 coming back from injury. He's proved he can score at...

First chunk in Robins impenetrable armour?

MR shouldn't be immune from criticism at all. However, and a point I've made before, if people on this forum (who are not qualified football coaches, likely with little/no experience of coaching at all) can say what they think is wrong, why do they - not a dig at you FB - why do they think MR...

Guarantee O'Hare is going to score the winner tonight.

2nd McFadz goal from a corner in recent weeks ;-)

Ahh ok. I thought that might have been the case but don't recall reading anything about it at the time.

    Crowd trouble

Do you mind me asking why he wants you to have a chat with him? Is his own feedback not enough? No dig, just genuinely intrigued. In terms of the throwing stones, I have a slightly shameful story from when I was about 14 or 15. I was delivering free newspapers on a weekly basis around the...

    Crowd trouble

Will there be trouble with Brum fans? I can't remember seeing anything about any trouble with them when we were at St Andrews unless I missed it.

    Our forum

This forum, despite the disagreements on here, is pretty good. Good job Nick. I don't have time to check other clubs forums - I barely have time to check this one. I don't know how some of you post so regularly.

I've had a couple of dealings with him in the last 18 months as he's a friend of a friend. Decent bloke.

Oh here he is... What's your beef with Godden?

    Walker

Was busy yesterday so didn't read any of the match thread. How did Godden do bar the goal? I've always said he's a class player so was great to see him get on the scoresheet again.

    Walker

Just read the whole thread this morning and TBF, it's amazing how wanting Godden ahead of Walker might be construed as racist?! This place is a bit crazy at the moment. I like a lot of what US and G have to say on a number of options. Think G was wrong on this one though. It's a forum though so...

    Walker

You're right butTBF, we don't see what goes on in training. Maybe Walker was having a bad week in training, Godden a good one (and a hat-trick for the U23s). It's not just the 1st team games that go towards winning/losing your place in the team.

    Crowd trouble

Not pelters and what you did was sensible. But why should you plan to leave early because of mindless twats? How many goals we scored late on this season? Being a Cov fan, how many games have we thrown away from 85 mins on (maybe a reason to leave TBF). My point being that whilst that's...

No...but this isn't the 80s and that doesn't make shit like yesterday alright for families wanting to take their kids to a match. I know there's a few that see this differently to me but I don't care. I feel strongly about the safety of my family when I take them to football and I don't want my...
