The latest Opta computer prediction for the Championship now has us finishing top, Middlesbrough second and Ipswich third. Now that the outcome is known, I think the EFL should end the season now so that we can start preparing for life in the Premier League. 😊

I’m sure that they won’t win all of their upcoming games, prior to them playing Southampton, but I think they will generally do well. Probably well enough to draw level with us, or overtake us by a point or two, as we go through our difficult spell. It’s not necessarily the end of the world...

I really hope, that to arrest the decline in momentum, we can beat Bristol - by no means a given - and get a point at Southampton. Middlesbrough have a run of generally easier games coming up and I expect them to be ahead of us in a few weeks time. It is important to keep a good gap to third.
