Interesting read. Makes me worry that nationalisation and various forms of socialism will be used for the recovery but we'll end up with Putin like characters rising in multiple countries and selling all the new state assets back to themselves and their cronies. Like 2008 somehow this will just...

Anyone else still going to work and largely unaffected so far aside from the roads being blissfully quiet. Also haven’t got the Mrs nagging me to go somewhere at the weekend. Aside from the impending sense of doom and worry of course. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well I agree but this isn’t going to blow over in a few weeks so there will be some forced adaption. Will help for when this inevitably happens again one day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s also occurred to me that this would be a lot easier to manage if more people had adapted to change and relevant systems were then already more robust. Take food deliveries, who (and I’m not including older people who are not comfortable with tech or don’t have laptops) is still visiting a...

There was an article I shared from BBC today saying no country has an exit strategy. It’s wait for natural herd immunity to develop (which it might not) or a vaccine, or adapt to this new situation of limited social contact and working from home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I know nobody knows how long it will last. What I mean is the government wouldn't commit to any action even though it's obvious to anyone paying attention that every measures will be needed to slow the spread down. Rather people know what's coming and flip out a bit rather than feel they are...

As much as I understand the not wanting to be in lockdown any longer than necessary argument the state of other countries does suggest we've left it late in the day to do especially with our generally poor compliance with what we were asked. Does also seem a lot more could have been done to...

Yes I agree with you. I'm at work still at work, not needed but the business sees some departments as business critical so assume they are afraid of going under.

Sorry I thought by saying people were using pencil to fill it out you were implying that it isn't working? Older people without smart phones would need some kind of paper solution but I imagine they are less likely to forge it anyway.

The problem is a lot of people are involved in the supply chains of essential industries or they just work for businesses that are making them come in anyway.
