Its something that needs sorting, because if we did manage a promotion, we'd look like a right bunch of clowns with several blocks closed off

    Saturdays gate…

It does. They need to explain why the stand was able to be shared in the past but not now. It sounds as though the Police have no faith in their own ability to control a crowd properly

    Saturdays gate…

If they have 4500 then they must have block 10. That’s what will cause the problem. If they only had up to block 9 then the stand could be shared

I remember them doing that for a Wimbledon game as well. I got free tickets through school and they were fit seats in the away stand

Would robins Be our greatest ever manager if we were promoted

No, I didn’t start going to games until the early 90s It wasn’t always relegation battles though. I know the early to mid 80s was bad but prior to that we were very good for most of the 70s

Would robins Be our greatest ever manager if we were promoted

Sorry but a club that had been in the top flight for 20 years is established.

I think you’re overthinking a bit there! Scandinavians are by nature a serious bunch. Nothing more to it than that

Did Wimbledon do it with 1 manager?

One of the websites has the attendance against Blackpool as being 6k, so its not showing the right average. This one is the correct figure: Sky Bet Championship | Average Attendances | Home Matches | Football Web Pages

Would robins Be our greatest ever manager if we were promoted

Here's how I would rate them Sillett - Gave us our highest honour. Coventry City peaked (to date) under Sillett. Hill - Made Coventry City the club it is today. Without him we would still be playing in a ramshackle Highfield Road, eaking out an existence as a 2nd or 3rd tier club. A...

Would robins Be our greatest ever manager if we were promoted

No is is disparaging the FA Cup win. Just that it was easier for Sillett to take an established top flight team and win the cup than it was for Robins to take a club on the verge of extinction back to the PL. The top ten thing is a bit silly. Bobby Gould & Phil Neal were only 1 point off...

Would robins Be our greatest ever manager if we were promoted

One thing I would say is Robins got lucky as to when he took over. Sisu were so hated that almost all frustration over a bad performance was directed at them rather than him

Would robins Be our greatest ever manager if we were promoted

But the thing is JH didn’t have to deal with that. We can’t judge on hypotheticals. Otherwise we could say that Phil Neal would’ve coped just as well with what Robins has had to deal with

Would robins Be our greatest ever manager if we were promoted

Not after we’d already been in the division for 20 years. Thinking that an established top flight team finishing in the top 10 is a success is exactly the mentality that has held us back for the past 50 years
